Detoxing

My wife does a detoxing bath every couple of months and she swears by it. Just curious if it anyone does this pre or post cycle. From what I read, they get out many toxins from the body and wanted to know if they provided any benefits.

SeaHawkIve done a few different detox protocols. Ranging from olive oil/lemon to water fasting for 7 days. The oilve oil lemon cleanse seemed to make me feel better for a few days after. The 7 day fast is extreme but its nice to give your body a break from constant feeding... like we were originally designed for.
I dont buy into "external" detoxes like foot pads or baths. But Im all for placebo if it makes her feel better.

SeaHawkIf you google it there are a ton of variations. But mine is usually a few days of low fat diet. The night of the cleanse I drink 1 cup of olive oil and a few fresh squeezed lemons immediately before bed. Lay on my right side. It basically designed to release maximum amounts of bile and pass any stones you may have built up. Bile can become filled with toxins- so the idea is to pass the bile along with your bowel in the morning. The process happens naturally with out our help, this is just a way to maximize the process.
Evan Centopani swears by it... and hes a pretty well read and down to earth pro.
waltrthat sounds like it's gonna taste awful, but i'm thinking i might just give it a try

AnonI detox now and again, there are lots of different methods. I preffer to detox with powdered vitamin c . Works great and doesnt take all day keeping close to a toilet.
