Cursing Babies, Babies Cursing

ad

So I'm listening to some rap music while at the gym. A skit comes on where a baby starts mumbling along with the beat then loudly drops an F-bomb.
I of course break out giggling as I'm re-racking the squat bar and draw a few WTF stares...

Those of you that watch Modern Family (SPOILER!) know this was a subject on last weeks episode--flower girl drops the f-bomb during a wedding to make daddy giggle and everyone gasps, then laughs.
(/SPOILER)

SO!
QUIT THE MIXED SIGNALS!
Let your F-bomb dropping child do his SHIZZLE!

In second grade I said fuck in class... teacher got mad; dad laughed; I got suspended. >:[

I'm gonna encourage a healthy vocabulary with my little fockers. (/end rant)

I did not see the episode where the flower girl drops the f-bomb. What is the code for this episode? And - who plays the flower girl? Which flowers does she hold. I need some inspiration on that for I have to order some flowers by post in uk: http://www.serenataflowers.com/flowers-by-post for a dinner I have on Sunday... and I thought this might be something interesting Biggrin

I don't mind an occasional F-bomb to bring a point home but when casually smathered within conversation it simply wreaks of ignorance... and to teach and encourage children to use cussing as a form of getting attention (thats what you do when you simply laugh it off in there presence) is indicative of that ignorance... and the fact that there is an entire thread being dedicated to this subject... well, you get the point

I'm gonna leave this for now...but I already see a strom brewing.
Don't go there fellas----this your chance to pass up a little bait and ignore a topic that you may find offensive.

This was just a silly thought. I don't pass judgement but I will laugh.

If you find it inappropriate/offensive just take it down.

There are a lot of things I find offensive, but that doesn't mean I'm going to censor them. Nothing wrong with a little debate, and the topic of children cussing is actually an interesting one if discussed in an adult manner.
As long as we don't spiral into a cobowy saloon brawl, everything is cool.

I get where your coming from. We've had one of our kids say a curse word. He said it like it was no big deal. My husband and I looked at each other and wanted to laugh so bad, but instead we explained how he shouldn't say that. Being mature responsible parents you have to teach them it's wrong, but it is funny the first time. I know he heard it from me. Of course later that night my husband and I laughed about it while talking about how we needed to watch what we say around our kids. It's not cool to teach your kids curse words, but it is funny the first time.

Best NRA advocate there ever was

He sure was. I saw a clip once where a film crew was doing a liberal documentary about gun control, and he literally chased them off his property....and Heston was a BIG dude!
