When I was a teenager I drove a Toyota for 3 years without changing the oil. No other car could've done that with getting damaged.
The quality of vehicles has went down tremendously. I own 3 auto body shops that specialize in Mercedes, Porsche, Range Rover, Jaguar, Rolls Royce/ Bentley, even get a few Ferraris from customers. I get to see it everyday how bad cars are made. I am pretty happy with the truck I currently have 2022 f350 platinum I custom ordered. If you’re looking for an affordable reliable car I like Honda and Toyota. Current brands worth the money are Lexus, Lincoln, Porsche, rolls Royce. For trucks Ford super dutys are superior to everything on the market in my opinion. There is a chance for recalls and issues on every vehicle it’s all up to chance but those brands have been pretty reliable in my opinion. Regular maintenance is also a big factor people get oil changes every 10k miles then wonder why they have issues.
I liked the 4 runner I use to have. Isn’t Lincoln a GM car? They look nice. Pricey but I can afford it
Lincoln is a Ford product. Got an aviator Black label for the other half and she loves it. I personally think it is the best car in that price range. My only complaint is how you select the gears it’s buttons and I love column shifters because I’ve been driving trucks my whole life. The car is completely blacked out with the white diamond stitch interior and it’s beautiful. I’d test drive a Lincoln aviator, Lexus Gx, Mercedes Glb, and a Porsche cayenne. If you’re interested in trucks a lot of newer models are very high end. Ford the king ranch or platinum trims are great. All are great options just depends on what your needs are. Another issue is interest rates currently so if you can wait out a little itd be the best option but you can always refinance later. I’d avoid used entirely right now if you’re in the financial position to do so. The used car market isn’t going to return to normal prices till around 2026. I just got offered 91 for my truck after I’ve put 11k miles on it and only paid 82 for it granted I had custom ordered it and payed under msrp through a friends dealership but for trucks to be selling over msrp used is nuts.
lol i used to say the same about ford litterly had a truck randomly cumbust in the middle of the night and burn to the ground melted the hood right off , aperently there was a recall i dident know about , cop that showed up to do the report luckely had a truck same year and make do the same thing and burn his garage down , they all suck in my opinion
If America can’t make a good car then I won’t buy American anymore
You ain’t lying…..I’m going Toyota wife went with VW
Engine blew. Got a new one because it was under warranty now the windows don’t roll down and a whole bunch of other shit. When I had my Toyota it never had a problem. These cars nickel and dime me tk death.
Yeh it’s a sad state of affairs when you want to support our country and keep jobs from going away but when they are sacrificing quantity for quality what can you do….all I ever hear is how great and reliable most foreign cars are….I do like Jeep but they don’t offer trucks and no those jeeps with beds and tailgate are not my kind of ride.idk I just do know that I ordered a 2023 Toyota 7 months ago and still hear crickets lol I did go overboard customizing the shit out of it so I’m not exactly top of the list but I’m in no hurry and can wait
