Been gone too long

ad

Been gone way too long from my eroids home, and from the gym. As many of you know substance abuse is a killer and I finally got to the point where taking 40 , 30mg roxi everyday for the last 4 years was just not sustainable. Not in the gym and not in life. Been off almost a week now and on subs. Still have no energy and my stomach is constantly upset but atleast I can walk around and function a little. Just want back in the gym bad! if anyone can relate please let me know how long this takes. Hope this was ok to share here, thanks everyone

Your life as you knew it is gone! You have addictions and an addictive personality which is normal. The only way to kick this habit is to get addicted to another habit! The gym is a drug as well as the lifestyle my friend. get addicted to it and you will see you will lose those friends you thought you had the "drug Friends". they will leave you and go their own way. you will become a completely different person where no one will recognize you and people will talk about you again but in a different manner! have you seen him? He has changed! What's he doing? What's he taking? but this time it will be out of admiration not demeaning! Fuck the drugs and the alcohol and anything that steps in the way of feeling awesome when you wake up in the morning and go to bed at night! "East Coast Muscle 4- Life" brother!

Been there bro.Vicodin was my devil. Finally realizing you have a problem is the first step. I don't care what anyone says but Suboxone and the right attitude will save your life. Some people feel switching to sub is just one opiate to the next (and technically they are right) but it helps greatly with cravings and getting back to normalcy.

My advice to you would be once you adjust in the next few weeks, get down to the lowest possible dose possible. Take your time coming off. Do it when YOU are ready. Not when the doc says, not when anyone says. It has to be you. I'm not going to lie I was on 1/2 mg for a year and I could not get away from it. I made dose reductions for over a year no problem but that last 1/2 mg was a bitch. I was ready, I told my doc. He gave me serquil and then I stopped. The first 7 days SUCKED but the serequil knocked my ass out and I slept it off. I slowly returned. It took a month before I felt good. It took almost a year to feel normal. I still have not been the same. Since I started test a year ago. I am a new person. I have no doubt my test levels got fucked from that part of my life!

Moral of the story. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Be strong. Know in your mind and heart those drugs are not worth it. I've been sub free for 3 years in december!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!! Good luck and congrats on making a smart choice!

ps. If you ever need to chat or have questions on sub. Hit me up. I'm here for you!

32 is def high. That's why I say get down to lowest dose possible. Taper at your own pace but be strong and do taper

Glad you are getting healthy and overcoming. If you already aren't remember to flush your system by drinking as much water and electrolytes as possible it will help with the physical recovery.
