I lost my fuc@king mind tonight at the gym, there are a few Down syndrome kids I guess not kids there prob early 20,s but they look very young. They are always there when I go they love to do the rowing machine it's there thing. Then after there done they go over to the mirrors and flex there not hurting a thing and most everyone is kind and helpful with them. Tonight tho was different there was a couple yuppie fags in there because they had a ten use tournament at the gym. One of the guys walked over and grabbed the others water bottle took a drink out of it ! No biggie right I mean hey cut him some slack he thought it was his right WRONG.. One had the nerve to call him a Horrable name and then turned to me and said can't believe that re@$rd did that.. I flipped folks called him every nasty name every derogatory slur I could think of to this person hoping praying he would want to mouth off again. A few other guys heard what he said and needles to say a 120 pound 19 year old girl jumped bad with the yuppies insulting there man hood belittling them in front of every guy there .. Lmao she was a feisty woman needles to say they grabbed there shit and left I walked over talked to the guy made sure he was ok and he said yes he has heard it all before he doesn't let it get to him ... Moral of the story is be kind one of my pet peeves is to make fun of people different than you

This little person (midget} walked by me last night and it was a girl! These two guys started giggling and laughing. I hate when other people talk about things that people can't help and what God blessed them with. I was yo don't talk about my girl like that! They were like oh yea what's her name if she's your girl. At that point they called her to the stage to dance and her name is Candy and they announced it. She started doing her usual thing dancing on the pole. I was like no Forreal it's my girl and if you don't have nothing nice to say don't say or I will world star that ass! Well a couple minutes rode by they came up and apologized to me and bought me a shot. I said thank you and don't let it happen again! True story! Edit I thought one of them said stay off the juice. But it could have been the music being loud and me hearing things!
Good for you....I would react the same and probably more along the lines of the 19yr old girl! We have several handicap guys/girls at my gym and one lifts with the power lifters. Its pretty cool to watch how supportive they are and how much progress he's made over the years.

That's awesome that you handled yourself correctly but I don't know if I could like you did! I have a cousin who is slower and my fiancé has a cousin with downs so it absolutely pisses me off when I hear things like that. I grew up picked on and I feel like bullying in general still isn't talked about as much as it should be! Great job stepping up though!

I always think about the time I was working out in the joint and some punk came in and grabbed a 5 lb plate and was going to hit someone with it that took his man... A lot of us were ready to fuck him up because that would have meant they would remove all of the weights from the institution

I had done thing similar st the gym I own just after I purchased it. A lad with some learning difficulties used to train there. He used to talk a lot, a little "over familiar" with people, (he'd come and start chatting with me half way through a set of squats when I've got 250kgs on my back as an example). He was s nice lad though, wouldn't hurt a fly.
A group of three lads , early twenties I'd guess were making fun of him. Kept taking Dumbbells he was using off of him, stuff like that. Eventually they made this lad cry, which REALLY pissed me off. So I walked over to the desk to switch off the cctv while I had a chat with them. I'll let you use your imagination here.....

We got a couple of special needs kids/guys that train at the gym and when I started going there they came over and ask a bunch of questions and by then end of it we were working out together. They told me that they are normally told to piss off and get cussed at. Pissed me off so now about once a week or so I'll see them in there when I hit it at night and train with them doesn't matter what there doing and they are happy as shit and smiling and they don't get fucked with told one little shit if he keeps fucking with him I'd bend him over I'd catch him in the showers fuck his shit up. He doesn't come at night anymore. It a bit of therapy I get at the gym and the kids dad says thanks. Good people I don't get way people want to mess with them.
Anyways makes me glad there are some more like minded people here with some decency

Funny storry . I will screw with the one sometimes i put 315 on the bench acted like I couldn't lift it he comes over and tries of course I'm doing all the lifting spotting him but he gets up and says WOW I'm stronger than you lol
Just a word of caution on doing that. I did the same thing to a guy about 20 yrs ago as a joke. We loaded 405# on the flatbench, and lifted it off of him. There was nothing wrong with this guy, but he really thought he lifted it. Went around bragging about it for days, untill someone told him to prove it. Guy damn near killed himself when the weight came crashing down on him. I haven't done anything like that since.
