If you don't go near powders then you won't need to worry about it!
TxBigBoyMan there's so many things that play into sentencing when it comes to drugs. Like godeep said it depends on which department gets you. If it's just local police you have a higher chance of a lighter sentence plus if you lawyer up might even get off with a slap on the wrist. Now if you get popped by dea or a sherrifs department that has a drug task force then it's gonna be harder to beat but you have a high chance of working something out with them(ie flipping on someone for 10x what you got popped with). Big departments don't want small fish like you they use you to get to the bigger guys. Everything can effect your case and it will all come down to how much you had and what you were doing with it at the time. Example, they catch you with 10 grams you might get off easy, but if you have all the supplies to manufacture(ie 100 empty vials) sitting next to the powder then your kinda fucked. Also just from personal experience never have a weapon in the same area as your drugs cause your getting hit pretty hard if so.
Some of it would depend on which LE makes the bust. "Run of the mill" local police and sheriffs, although they're not going to be nice, would probably be "easier" to deal with than CBP or DEA.
Nasty81NateVaries state to state
Right I tried looking it up but couldn't find an actual number or any good info on it in this case it would be Texas
Nasty81NateI don't know, ur best bet would be to find a lawyer and ask them.
