Just curious to know other peoples interest and hobbies. I have a 72 Monte Carlo that runs in the 8s and leaves with the wheels way in the air. Also currently building a 10.5 outlaw car 78 malibu with a 565 big block chevy with a fogger ( nitrous ).. I've been street racing for the past 7 years and drove my first drag car when i was 15... Anybody else race at all?

I had an 01 Mustang GT with a supercharger in it. Used to haul ass is in it a lot. The face I got when a vette tried to punk me pricelesssss. I wrecked it though. no more v8 for me. trying to get an import now.
A mustang with a super charger is a cool as street car.. I had a 88 gt 5.0.. With the e 303 cam gt40 Heads and 4.10 gears edelbrok intake. Only 12 second car but fun as hell .
got a 70 roadrunner 500 ci stroker . torque monster. have a broken push rod . will fix this spring.

I love drag racing, thats one of my other hobbies. I got two mustangs. One has a turbo sbf and the other has a bbf with a direct port fogger. I did race the sbf car before it was turbo. It ran high 11's
I bet that think flies with that turbo now. My Monte has a bbc long rod 468with a big shot plate.. I can't keep the front end down so im changing the upper control arms to limit the front end.. It goes on The bumper now when i hit it off the line... What kind of chassis work is done to the mustang ?
I just got the turbo car running but Im trying to tune the junk blow through demon. I took it out for the first time turboed and as soon as you try to get into the gas it falls on its face. Berry Grant is no longer around anymore and holly is suppose to be re opening a demon line. I only bought the demon cuz I used a different demon on a n/a motor and it worked great. Im gonna either buy a CSU or C&S blow through soon. Everyone that has spent the money on a CSU or C&S says they come outa the box dead on or really close. As for chassis work, the bbf car is 4-linked with tube k member, a arms and fully caged and the smf turbo car is all UPR susspension fron and back with tube k member and a arms with sub frame connectors.
I have a Barry grant Dominator 1050 on my 468 and i hate it ! Im goin to get a pro systems carb.. I don't know much about blow threw carb. My Monte is stock suspension its got south side machine bars on it. My malibu is front stock stub and the rest is all round tube with a dana rear end. It sits like 4 1/2 inches off the ground.. You have go go way in the 6s to be competive for 10.5 racing but with the motor were breaking the car out with it will only run like 7.50s.. Then im goin to build a turbo motor or a f3 pro charger bbc .. Are you goin to class race the stang? Or just for fun?? Your mustang sounds cool as hell! I love fast shit man!
When you get ready to buy a carb I would strongly recomend CSU or C&S. They make blow through and N/A carbs. They'r suppose to be the top dogs in the carb market. Ive seen a lot of ppl try these carbs including a Pro Systm carb and everyone says CSU & C&S blow the Pro Systems away. Im going to street race it and take it to the track just for fun on a test & tune day. Your car sounds coll too. 7.50s is real fast, I would be happy to hit 9.99. I love fast shit too. Anything with an engine on it, I have to mod it.

My front tires come.off the ground also, almost 80" when it hits the back bumper but it has hydraulic lol its not very fast
You got a car with switches ? My brother had a regal with 10 switches from pro hopper.

No he wasn.. I remember riding with him to state fair and hitting 3 wheel around them corners.. Its was fun as hell
My old friend used to race in the 10.5 outlaw class, jackass racing was his sponsor if i remember right. I used to drag race banshee's for a while on sand, started out using race gas then went to alcohol but went through alot more piston's

I would say every bit of 5-7yrs ago i remember going with them and most of the time it was back off a country road and a small track

Where are the tracks down there ? I think my dad use to go to bowling green to race. We will have to travel running that 10.5 class so im sure i will be in your area.
