26 year old DJ from Australia was caught with 61 ecstasy pills. Bali drug laws are harsh and so he was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences. Ouch
What would the punishment be in the USA or Europe?

If they couldn't prove possession with intent it would probably just be probation or community service in the UK.
If intent was proven it would most likely be 2 year's max.
I actually met someone who was given a 8 year sentence, got caught with a few tabs, thought he was the dogs bollocks and started telling the filth how many he usually sells, think they totaled it up to 11k and did him for that amount. Ran a trial and was found guilty. Great lad, just very green regarding the law, ex forces lad. Tried looking him up online but can't be found. He was the first person I bought gear off ironically.
