First Anavar Cycle...Diet help
Ok, I am hoping I can get some help from the pros on here. I am currently on day 6 of my first anavar cycle. I am a female 5'3 and 142 lbs. I am looking to gain lean muscle, but I know I also have some body fat to lose. I am eating clean and right now I am at about 1730 cals a day. I am not sure if this is too much or not enough. My macros right now are at Protein 40, Carbs 30, Fat 20. I am not sure if this is right either. I eat lean meat, eggs, and good carbs from sweet potato, whole wheat products as well as broccoli, zuchinni, asparagus, spinach for veggies. I drink a post workout shake as well as a Casein shake at bedtime. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I also weight train 6 days a week with 2 days of HIIT cardio.

Ditch the carbs, up your fats a bit, and up cardio to 5 days. I would run a keto diet and lean out quick. The var will allow you to diet hard without sacrificing muscle. Maybe walk for 30-60 min before breakfast too.
5'3" 143lbs is pretty soft.
End of cycle goals for weight & body fat?
So maybe 5% carb, 70% fat and 25% protein and about 2300 Cals? Incline treadmill low intensity cardio
She isn't eating enough to save the muscle and the anavar is a waste of money
How much would you say to up my food intake? I don't want to waste it, so should I stop and diet like they said. If so, what would you recommend to drop weight so I could start back up? I'm dedicated and willing to do what I need to do. Thank you guys for he input so far!
Honestly sit down and put some specific goals on paper. I ll wont tell you that you HAVE to be in the low teens with BF if you understand that using anavar with a proper diet and training program is going to make you THICKER. But it seems to me that you want to get lean and you can do that by diet alone without wasting your money on var and ending up dissappointed because you aren't going to end up looking like a fitness chick with 10% bf or lower because that just isn't going to happen.. Get your diet under control.. do some research.. if you are willing to drop the var I d suggest you research the Dulcan Diet .. it can even be modified and will still work if you stick to the first week of it .. .. then if you want to put on some muscle get into the gym and lift your ass off before you hit the var because it will work SO much better.
For training right now.. I d do some cardio first thing in the morning and then again in the afternoon. You don't need to kill yourself .. 30min in the morning and work up to an hour in the afternoon. You can get by with just brisk walking no need to go crazy. If you aren't weight training right now add that in also but remeber in order to build and maintain muscle you have to EAT. You cannot starve yourself and get anywhere.
If you want to follow macros ... I d use this 60/20/20 protien/carbs/fats
Just looked at the Dukan diet. I can pay 90 for coaching or is that not worth it. I can probably do it myself.
lol. buy the book .. or if you want I can help you with the diet .. use your coach for training
Ps. If you're still willing to help me with my diet I would appreciate it.
yes sorry had to do some traveling for work .. send me a pm and we will discuss there
Ok thank you!
Thank you. I have been lifting 6 days a week heavy. I know that unles I drop some bf I will just look thicker. I can already tell I'm gaining muscle but I need to drop the fat covering it. I'm not fat just need to tone up and honestly I have never weighed 140 I'm usually around 130 normal weight. My goals are to be around 18-20% bf. I've been doing a lot of research and I will look into what you suggested. I don't want to waste money for sure and I can always hang on to what I have and try it later. I have 100 10 mg pills and I was only going to do 5/5 daily. So I have time. I just know without the proper diet it isn't going to do anything. As far as the weight training I've been doing that and I'm eating clean. Just didn't know how many calories to consume in order to build the muscle but also lose some fat. Is 2000 to 2300 a good range? I promise I'm not dumb but this is all new to me and I want to do it right. I'm a hard worker and when I set my mind to something I make it happen.
when I cycle I am taking in at least 4k calories .. you can't lift heavy that long and not back off how many reps are you getting when you say you lift heavy.. lifting heavy means you are getting in 1-5 reps a set.
Ok, right now I am doing as heavy as I can for at least 8 reps. I was planning on doing less reps and raising weight so that's good to know. And I would love help with my diet if you don't mind. The training part I can adjust as needed. I love the gym and lifting. It's just the nutrition part I've always struggled with because there are so many different opinions out there. Just finding what works for me. Thank you again!!
Girl?
yes...Sorry I am a girl.
I would diet first before touching gear.
