+ 1 Starting the grind

ad

Hi Everyone,

I’m a longtime lurker of this website, finally decided to start TRT+ and potentially blast once in a while.. Yknow how it goes. Just picked up some Test E from a trusted supplier and can’t wait to see results. Give me your guys honest opinion.. no hard feelings or offense taken. I haven’t lifted and taken my diet seriously in 5 years, but have worked physically demanding jobs and have stayed moderately healthy. I would say I have a pretty average body for someone who doesn’t go to the gym. I plan on going back into the gym and dialing in my diet the next month before I hop on a cycle and TRT for life.

I don’t want to get too much in detail on my workout and diet, but I’ll be hitting the gym 4x a week and trying to hit 3000 calories a day with 150g protein.

25yo 5’6 135lbs 15%-20%BF
TRT/Cruise: 150mg-200mg/week
Blast: Starting at 300mg/week for 16 weeks then cruise for 8 weeks and also increasing dose by 50 every blast until side effects start coming in.

Are your test levels low And that’s why you’re going on TRT? This is not a decision to be made lightly. Not a decision to be made at 25 unless there’s a medical need for TRT, which is relatively uncommon at that age. I made that same dumb decision at 25. 35 now, low T and on TRT for life. It gets real old sticking a needle in your ass twice a week for what will hopefully be another 50 years. Many people look forward to it in the beginning, but I promise that ends. Quarterly bloodwork from your doctor is pretty annoying too. No more long Esters, you’re limited to stuff like prop, ace and PP for 10 weeks max.

TRT is not something to mess around with on your own. It needs to be monitored by a doctor. A very high percentage of people have issues with RBCs. High hemoglobin and hemaotcrit. Thickening of the blood which increases risk for some very serious problems. And a handful of other issues.

Now onto your physique and the best plan forward. You’ve been out of the gym for 5 years. Your first year or so back training naturally you’ll gain like experienced guys do on steroids. You can put on 15-25lbs of muscle your first year training. And those gains are here to stay, there’s no fight to keep them. And it’s better for your body to gain that naturally over a year than in 3 months on gear (not that you’ll even gain that much pure muscle on 1 cycle). And the gradual strength gain as well. Blowing up in 3 months in size and strength after 1 month of training is recipe for injury, and just hard on your body with all that weight gain.

What I would recommend is spending atleast 1 year training naturally. Or more, until gains really slow, but atleast a year. Building a base, gaining strength, figuring out what works for your body in terms of diet and training. It’s a real waste to figure that out on cycle and not maximize your time while on. You only get 1 first cycle and you’ll most likely gain more on it than any other, so don’t waste it. And then when you’re done if you don’t have low T now do a PCT. It works. But you need to prove to yourself that you can gain naturally, because if you can’t you won’t gain much on cycle. Gear doesn’t make up for poor diet or training.

Get everything else dialed in for a few years before adding gear. Trying on diet and planning on the gym 4x per week is light years away from having done it. Too early for drugs in my opinion.

You should start the diet acouple weeks before the sauce so your body can adjust to the new calories because 3,000 calories will take awhile to get used to considering your taking in about 1,500 to 1700 now !!! and you will start to see new definition also get the gym routine down before starting to get saucey
Whats your goals

Until it gets stretched by 12”+ when muscle actually comes in…

not being a dick telling the truth. I came to say damn near the same thing, with added bonus tidbit = to always lube up with good lotion after showering lol.

I had ink from my early 20s & 30s that I mostly had redone bc it was polkaDots where lines should be. Now im working on covering stretch marks & scares on shoulder with Tats lol,

Yeah ink on an 6" arm and shoulder definitely will look different with muscles on. I can say that because i had 2 spaghetti noodles for arms when i was 16yr old too. We started where he is.

Yep I got a shoulder tat when I was 16 too LOL! I got my shoulder piece covered up once I saw it myself.

Agreed everyone does. It’s just about knowing when to actually implement the drugs.

At 25, why wouldn't you want to pct? And also, why wouldn't you want to get your shit dialed in before hopping on gear? If I were to give you a suggestion, it would be to get, at MINIMUM, 2 more years of CONSISTENT gym time with nutrition and sleep. Your making a lifelong decision right out of the gates for something that you might find that your just not that into.
Edit: and pct after cycles until your old.

Let’s be honest, the majority of young ppl running a cycle are more than likely gonna want more. Is it really worth it to PCT when they’re gonna end up cycling again in the near future? My opinion is wait until you know you’re done with the lifestyle then PCT back to natural, if that’s the route they’re taking. Unless he has low T, he shouldn’t even be fucking with gear at his age and lack of natural progression.

I kinda feel it is. That way you do a shorter 10-12 week cycle, test only at max 500mg a week so you can see how it feels, if you like it, if you have the ability for consistency. Then you get to see what coming off feels like, what you keep, and again, decide if it's worth it.

Ideally yes, you are correct. But I think in reality, guys in their low to mid 20’s are gonna see gains and want more. Hell most want to start adding other compounds and/or upping the dosage before first cycle is even complete. It’s the age of young bodybuillders being fueled by social media and instant gratification, everyone wants what the other guy has. Look at all the young guys wanting to run Tren for their first or second cycle. The thought of making gains, then doing a PCT and losing gains isn’t gonna fulfill their expected desires.

I think your absolutely correct.. dudes gonna do what dudes gonna do. I just think it's still worth it to try and persuade them away. Offer some push back in the hopes that they change their mind. Even if it is unlikely.

Find yourself a brown chick or good cooking white chick and have her force feed you rice and beans for a year before even thinking about steroids. Oh yeah, and smash weights every second you 2 arent in the bed smashing

Need some more info to give ya some tips man. How old are you? Are you starting trt because of symptoms or blood work? If trt is needed, you should know the exact dose in which to not be supraphysiological but on the high end of normal. What are the goals? What are your expectations? No offense, just my opinion, but if you are going to start trt regardless, I would reach some milestones without blasting first. Bf %, strength goal, whatever milestones u set. In all honesty, if u don't need trt, there's a lot you can do natty before reaching for the gear. The main things need to be in place first, diet on point (macros and cals all tracked), training- it looks as though you could spend minimum a year committed and consistent to a program in which you are progressively overloading. The "supplements" are not going to cover up the fact that there could be a lot done that the gear simply will not do. And if u are dead set on blasting, I would definitely have AIs and ancillaries on hand or use primo or mast for est suppression. Good luck tho man.

IMO You just need to be getting back into the gym again buddy and hitting it with some regular consistency again each and every week, hit the weights properly including the Big 3 exercises and then a couple of exercises afterwards to properly attack each of your main muscle groups thoroughly. No need to be thinking about any steroid cycles for at least 6 months to 1 year and then asses the situation. Sleep hard, train hard, Eat hard Good

smurfdude1234567's picture

100%. Too young for trt unless outside causation and required.

There is no base. Haven’t ate or trained consistently ever and it shows. Do that first. You could do all the gear in the world and end up right back here or worse without the discipline.

I'm not trying to attack him when I say this as he seems like a nice lad - But this is the reality of most people these days jumping onto steroids. No evidence of even lifting weights, No real gym history or consistency, No muscle displaying - Just a desire to be on Steroids 'because everyone else is'. Call me an Arsehole for saying it, but its true.

smurfdude1234567's picture

No I completely agree. Huge issue with it becoming so popularized and glorified by social media.

They don’t take into account the decade+ of consistency most of us put in prior to any of this.

It is almost always a lifelong commitment… almost as bad as those “I just want to do a single cycle to get big” type guys.

Truly though @brianwbf this is not in hate or to discourage you. At 25 and no previous history you can make natural progress at a speed everyone will be envious of. “Newbie gains” are a real thing and the shock will begin to change your physique drastically if you can eat right along your training.

Revisit this in a few years when TRT would actually be beneficial.
