+ 1 yearly cycle

ad

I was told tonight by my wife that I am obsessed with research. I have changed my diet all from research and its helping tons. Now I am researching everything I can about AAS, PCT, petides...you name it. Been doing it seriously for months. THERE IS A TON OF INFO. Anyways being addicted to info. I was curious as to what does a yearly cycle look like for some of you. the on cycle, pct, cruise, then next cycle for the whole year?

fast48's picture

I usually run two cycles a year and eat according to the goals. If you workout hard and eat well you should easily maintain the gains. If you're newer to doing a cycle at all, the base level test enanthate for 12Weeks with proper ai (since you mentioned trt) is a successful and easy cycle. You can bulk or cut with just test since foods will give the goals. Later as you get better at pins is a test/eq run. Lean bulk with solid gains. Usually kept well after cycle. Its a slow steady gain. It raises red blood cells so if you're prone to high bp it's not for you. If not it also boosts appetite and endurance. Keep researching and everyone will help ya

Iron-warrior's picture

My future cycle will be basic. Your baseline 500mg test e per week 2x week pin. After lots of research will be doing aromasin on cycle as well as hcgi am doing labs in two weeks for my possible trt. Pct I think im gonna do a nolva/clomid combo. And of course eat and lift. Encore during and after. Not going to plan on losing gains by going back to a Shit diet after a cycle.

fast48's picture

The fun part of this is when you figure out your diet enough that you keep at/near your goal weight/size pretty much all year. Two basic cycles to bump up your flaws or go lil thicker. The food is really the hard part.

Iron-warrior's picture

Yeah it thats what I am seeing. I only plan on a couple cycles a year to do just that.

Iron-warrior's picture

Thanks there seems to be an abundance of knowledge here and add in the experienced vets its priceless. Can't believe you got people going half cocked at this with this much info around and free advice.

VIKING EVOLUTION's picture

"ON" for me thesedays is 2x20 week blasts - 2x6 week cruise = 52 weeks.

The blasts can be a mixture of bulk/cut or the other way around depending on goals at the time... or all out bulkers or cutters!

NOT for everyone but i have learned to "LISTEN" and "FEEL" my body and having a bunch of pro,s as personal friends helps to fine tune everything to a degree that i suffer from little to zero bad sides.

Iron-warrior's picture

Thanks f answering. Asking for Just pure curiosity at this point. I know some pros are on all year but wondered what the average joe does throughout year. I can see how after you have done it regularly you will know what your body feels and can adjusted things as you go.

Messed up can't delete.

Information is key in this lifestyle. It will get you to your goals and do it as safe as possible. First off year round cycles are a huge no no unless you are a pro. You shouldn't do a blast cruise unless you have a low test problem. Start with one compound at a time in each cycle. Starting with test e or c, 10 weeks on 10 weeks off.See how your body reacts. Next cycle add another compound say dbol and cycle again and so on. You have to learn how each compound effects your body. If you have a negative reaction to a certain compound you can pin point the problem. This is cycling 101.By the way tren should be ran no earlier than your eighth cycle minimum in case you are wondering. Cycling improperly will cause irreversible damage to your body, mainly your hormones. What is your age and stats?

BiochemicalAbomination's picture

Wondering why your conventional wisdom says to avoid tren until at least the 8th cycle?

logan's picture

Tren is the king of AAS, it's produces the greater results than any other AAS but along with those results comes the worst side affects, not to mention the rage from tren some people experience. For the rookie having this rage could become uncontrollable, hell even the seasoned vets will tell you they have be mindful that they are on tren. Tren should be used by seasoned vets only that are aware of the consequences that come along with using it.There are many other "safer" compounds to try before tren to get you to your goals. Anyone running tren early on and without doing full research before hand is just taking the easy way out and being around the gym for 23 years I am telling you those people don't stand the test of time. How is that for conventional thinking? We can discuss true scientific facts if you like. Also were are your stats? Let me guess you are 23 and have ran 5 cycles and tren has been a part of at least 2 of them. Conventional thinking? Ask any vet on here and I will bet a weeks pay they will back me.

BiochemicalAbomination's picture

Hey, whoah man... are you on tren right now? haha. Relax, I was merely asking why 8 was a magic number for you, it's always peculiar when guys are exact in their advice, especially when physiologically we're all very different. I have used tren before, and not as my first, second, third.... etc. cycle. I am definitely not 23, although I wish some days. I actually agree with your sentiment regarding the aggression side, but a lot of newbs also have increased aggression off of fake dbol because of the placebo effect and societal stigma (what kids think it's "supposed" to do, right?). I agree that tren shouldn't be used by novices for many reasons... but you know it's all relative bro, anyone could argue that steroids shouldn't be used by anyone but pro athletes. Anyhow, was just a question, not intended to rile you up or "challenge" you. I'm not here to poke at ant hills, just converse with some like minded people.

fast48's picture

Us vets get riled...not directly but in general. Daily we see kids who have never maxxed out naturally jump into gear. Then they never maxxed out from gear and straight to tren. It screws with your full Max potential. It definitely stunts that future growth. So as far as aggro....just browse the forums. We have newbs to full blown ifbb pros here having trren rage. Not placebo. These are guys cycling properly and have done so for a decade or more. So folks like Logan and i definitly make folks aware of the real issues. And kids having placebo aggro on fake dbol are bluntly....assholes in real life and this is their excuse. Like the song "blame it on the aaaaalcohol". No..i blame the drunk asshole.. Lol! If you need a real cycle...research...post a cycle log with full stats and goals. Arnold didnt do tren and he was fkn huge! And back then there werent power shakes. All food...all powerlifting.

BiochemicalAbomination's picture
  • "And kids having placebo aggro on fake dbol are bluntly....assholes in real life and this is their excuse."

I like to think the term "douchebag" is a better term for those kids, but hey that's just me... haha. I get the gist man, I wasn't actually asking for cycle advice, but I understand why you're giving me the advice you are. I also get that tren rage is real, and I actually agree with Logan regarding that.. anyhow, you guys want my lunch money now?

logan's picture

X2+1 Arnold is the king of this sport, he put it on the map. Back then, NO DNA, NO test levels, NO estrogen levels, NO GH levels. It was a little juice and a shit load diet and hard training.

fast48's picture

Ever notice....those classic bbuilders even before ferrigno....no gyno. Like you said...lil gear...BIG food.

Iron-warrior's picture

Exactly.

logan's picture

I challenge ANYONE on eroids to say diet has nothing to do with it, all you need is more juice. Every vet and anyone with a head on their shoulders knows diet dictates everything. I can give someone a gram of test and give some one else 1/4 of that but the person at 250mg with a solid diet will gain and retain more than a person on a gram of test and a shit diet. THAT IS what newbies on here need to understand and is up to us vets to drill it into their freakin heads.

BiochemicalAbomination's picture

Listen, you're preaching to the choir... it's hard enough convincing people you don't need to do cardio to lean out, you just have to control your diet, be strict and know when to make changes based on look and feel. On the other hand, I get why it's next to impossible for relative neophytes to the iron game, they have a hard time wrapping their head around that concept; also they haven't done enough dieting to read their bodies as well. Couple that with a lot of bullshit information floating around cyberspace and in gyms... Yeah, easier said that done sometimes.

logan's picture

Agreed! It seems we have a new member with some great insight, I am looking forward to reading more. Just a piece of advice, put stats up so we can help you with any questions you might have. This is a family, believe it or not. Stick around long enough and you will see it. Welcome to the best sight on the net.

BiochemicalAbomination's picture

I actually believe it, this board seems pretty good. I'm looking forward to learning and contributing. Thanks for the compliments, and I'll post my stats in my intro.

Iron-warrior's picture

yep if all it took was test We would have alot more monsters walking around. Thats the thing there is no magic substitute for hard work and a good diet. Weather cutting or bulking. strength or endurance. What we put into our bodies food wise matches with our genetics to determine the outcome! just like eating 1/2 thickburgers 3 times a day and expecting clen to burn it all off for you!

logan's picture

X2+1 brother. What is happening? No arguments, everyone agreeing with me, am I in the Twilight Zone? I should play the lottery. LOL

Iron-warrior's picture

hahaha do it while you can

logan's picture

Sorry brother. Unfortunately we have WAY to many young people on here that think they know what they are talking about when they don't have a clue. I thought you were one of them. My apologies. IMO try everything else possible before you fuck your body up for life. Go natural 100% if you can but if you choose AAS start slow and go from there. This is not a game just because you cant OD like heroin doesn't mean it is not dangerous. I have always said on here,"better safe then sorry". We all want to look good but we also don't want to die an early death. Explore every other avenue possible first before tren. The gains don't out way the sides for people that are not making this a life time commitment.

BiochemicalAbomination's picture

No worries man, no hard feelings I actually have pretty thick skin. At the end of the day, I concur with your general sentiments.

logan's picture

+1 for having a good head on your shoulders.

Iron-warrior's picture

oh I am not doing year round cycles. I was wondering what the vets do as far as through the year. like 2-3 cycles a year and what they do in between. I am only using cycles as a tool in my belt. My main focus is diet, training, and more training. I am not competing against anyone but myself and my genetics. Smile

stats are
age- 36
height-5'9"
weight- 205
BF- not sure calipers are on the way. Army BF tape test says im 19-20%

goal is to keep up on diet and routine to drop BF before doing cycles. will be picking up gear and holding it till I am ready.

BiochemicalAbomination's picture

Just have to say... you know the tape test is the crudest, most archaic body fat measurement known to man? They tape your waist and your neck... think about that for a second. Your bf is going to be lower, if you care a little bit, but not enough to have someone do something like a 7-site caliper test then do an electrical impedance through your feet or hands to get a slightly more accurate reading. Just have to say... oh I see your comment about calipers are on the way, definitely have someone who knows what they're doing do your test, you won't be able to do it accurately yourself (for the simple fact you can't reach all the sites).

Iron-warrior's picture

yeah I have been saying for years the army's archaic methods are not accurate. They however stick with it. I have used the 7-site calipers in the past with someone else doing it.

logan's picture

+1 again. The caliper is the most accurate means of getting bf%. I have tried the electronic ones and they range from 10% to 25% BF. I might be 10% but 25% no way. Sometimes electronics can't replace good old fashion solid science.

logan's picture

+1 for doing your research

Iron-warrior's picture

Thanks bro. Have no clue why anyone out there would jump into this without gaining knowledge first.

logan's picture

Stay here long enough and you will not believe what you read sometimes.

Monster666's picture

i like to do test 500 and tren a 1500 year round

fast48's picture

Thats just bad to post for an OP trying to do it right....and safe

biggervin916's picture

become obessed by the progress you gain by the improvements in your body

Iron-warrior's picture

Oh I'm already obsessed with that. that's overall what she was joking about my obsession with scultping my body. She likes the results as well and may say obsessed but sees dedication as well.

tennessee21's picture

It's ok I get called obsessed daily. "What are you doing?" "Nothing just on eroids" "god you are so obsessed" daily! Haha
This doesn't apply to your wife, but I use it with other ppl when they call me obsessed. I forget who said it, but I read it on here. It goes "obsession is what stupid people call dedication." It went something like that. Once again, not directed towards your wife, just liked the quote.

Iron-warrior's picture

lol like the quote. although I wont say that to her. haha. In the end she doesnt mind how all this work and dedication and "obsession" makes me look in the end.

ac89's picture

There is endless info out there. No one can know everything, there is always something to learn.

RickRock1086's picture

Tread-M knows everything bro!!!

tennessee21's picture

Yes Tread does know everything! Like a damn book!
