Any good links, advice on how to find the ventrogluteal injection site, only ever done glutes and quads, ventrogluteal sounds much easier once the spot has been located.

Find the spot on your upper lateral leg that has a large knob (greater trochanter) go up about 2" and then internally rotate your leg, you will feel the muscle pop up,
What I do is, once you know the area where it's supposed to go in but you keep touching your hips and saying "no way, I'm going to stab me in the bone", shift your position leaning on one leg, then on the other. You will find a spot where there's muscle and it's moving. That's the spot.
