Tendonitis, end cycle? look at getting some hgh?

ad

I've been on a cycle of 600mg test e, 500mg eq for two months, first 4 weeks was using dbol too and since then added tren (according to the labels i'm taking 360mg of tren e a week and 120mg of tren ace split over 3 shots, the products are gbp duel tren and chemtech tren enth - i am not convinced of the doses but that is a separate issue).

I only included the eq as I had read that famous article on the internet about it helping with collegen synthasis, and as i have had problems with connective tissue before in the elbows and knees this seemed like a good idea.....on reflection i think it is a lot of bollocks and hasn't helped at all and is was most likely a completely unnessary addition.

The cycle has otherwise gone well so far, i have broken through old pb's and put on over two stone and am now at around 245 at 6ft 1in. This is my first cycle. I have now run into a problem though, i have developed medial tendonitis in my elbows, trained arms yesterday and it hurt a lot, from what i've been reading online, i am now screwed as it seems i will need to rest my arms for somewhere between weeks and months!!

My cycle was not due to finish for another 6 weeks or so my question is, should i stop the cycle now and start pct in a few weeks? or do i have any other alternative? also should i consider getting a couple of months worth of hgh to try and assist with keeping gains and repairing my stupid tendons?

I have nolvadex and aromasin on hand for a 5 week pct and will also combine clen for its anti-catabolic nature. I started using hcg about 2 weeks ago with a kick start shot of 1200ui followed by 250ui eod.

I would rather complete the course if there is any work arounds i can do on the tendonitis but i obviously don't want to end up tearing my tricep tendon :/

would i be able to blag a cortisone shot from doctor (i'm in uk) and would this help or just increase likelihood of injury.

Any advice much appreciated, cheers

I have had severe tendinitis in both elbows. Has kept me from training upper body for months. I did see an orthopedist and had both of them injected twice...hurts like hell! But it only treats the symptoms and not the cause. I started hgh about 6 weeks ago and after wearing a brace for over 3 months I'm finally out of it and the pain is much better. From what I have read" it takes a minimum of 6 weeks before repair begins...and for me that has been dead on. I think in my case I will have no choice but to avoid certain exercises and hand positions to keep it from returning. I can defitnately tell they are weak and atrophied from non use but im not in pain every single day anymore....and for me personally that is priceless. Unfortunately its injecting the actual tendon, while it helped my pain go away for a short while, it came back and I can no longer get them injected unless its last resort because the injections deterioate the tendon. Good luck and I hope yours heals.

Oteo Bi-Flex Triple Strength works. I have bought it at the grocery store. I have tried Deca, it works but as soon as you come off its gonna hurt like hell. I bought it the other day buy one get one free $21.

Anyone experiencing this issue, please do not consider the injection that is offered by your GP. This may or may not help the issue immediately but the risks involved are far too great. Many boxers suffer with this problem due to over extension and it really is a stretching and waiting game. No shortcuts I am afraid

Ravishing65 said find the bio-mechanical issue and fix it. One way to do that is lifting very very light weights, super (I mean ridiculously) slow. With this method you put more attention into the lift, you focus on form. With this focus you retrain your muscles. Try going to muscle failure with light weight and super slow-mo. It may retrain out any imbalance in the way you activate your muscles.

could be carpral tunnel

i agree dont run deca with tren dont hurt yourself ig gonna juice deca help your bones joints and tendents wear a brace and lighten your load

Brutha, just come off... The long and short of it is you're just running too many compounds and trying to get all your gains at once... Though in short term you may be seeing outstanding muscular results your joints and tendons are still behind in the game... This is how ppl get hurt. Come off your cycle with a proper PCT and add MSM and glucosamine

AND DO NOT RUN DECA WITH TREN

wolf's picture

I've been using glucosamine since before even started the cycle, i've seen msm mentioned while i've been reading online, have u ever used it to help with tendon problems? do u know how long it takes to see help from it?

also i've read a little about something called aflutop, have u heard anything on this?

I do understand what your saying about the tendons are not strong enough for the muscular gains, but tbh, my lifts aren't that far past my natural pbs, they are past them, but not massively.

i do not want to add deca, but why is it such a huge no no to run two 19nors? i have read journals of guys having good results doing this, am just interested to hear your take on it.

cheers bro

take a look at some deca says right in the clack and white it lubes joints and fixes tendons def gonna cop some my next time around

wolf's picture

apparently it has its pain/joint healing effect by pathways other than lubing the joints....(google "Deca, Winstrol and Your Joints" for a pretty good and scientifically based set of reasons for its effects)

Brutha, if you do not have proper info plz refrain from handing out dangerous advice... Running TWO 19nor's is NOT a good idea

honestly if i could go back to the start i would not have bothered with the eq at all, there is an article all over the internet about collegen synthasis and the beneficial effects of deca, eq, hgh, var and primo on this. I have since found out that this article which i'm sure u and many others are aware of has no real scientific backing. Besides that i had read about cycles for many years before embarking on this one.4

Since i have always had problems with connective tissue, both in weight training and distance running the idea of eq helping this seemed too attractive to overlook. The tren wasn't planned, but when i came off the dbol which was AMAZING, i really wanted to spruce up the remainder of the cycle with something and tren is so raved about....

I'm sure i'm not the first guy whos been guilty of doing too many compounds first cycle lol. my next cycle will probably be mainly test @750mg ew with anadrol for 4 weeks.....so a bit simpler, if i get rid of this damn tendonitis!

The arms will be a bio-mechanical issue. Find out what weakness is causing it and FIX that. Don't play around with sticking plasters (supplements etc..) as they're a waste of time (snake oil). I tried all sorts of pills/potions with my right shoulder (all the way up to growth) but its only with addressing the aforementioned is it coming right after months. Cortisone will only address the symptoms too (tried that too) - you'll be back to where you were when it wears off. Sort the cause.

from what i found the problem occurs as a result of the flexors in the forearm being overdeveloped against the extensors. there are some exercises and stretches i can do to help take the pressure off of the medial upper condyle. this problem has onset over a few weeks since i broke my bench pb, it hurts a lot when doing bench presses and dips the most, but also while doing most types of bicep curl, training legs is fine obviously and back has not flaired up the problem (yet).

So i am wondering if i should ditch the cycle early, or if i should just stop doing pressing exercises for chest and tri's (that is obviously a big knock but i could do a lot of flys until inflammation has gone down) and add the various extensors training.

I am not sure what is the best course of action at this stage, obviously i guess injuries on cycle are a pretty common problem....
