small lump after thigh injection

Hi, started first cycle a week and a half ago and did my 3rd pin on tuesday, first two were in the butt, pushed them in too quick and got some pip that felt like brusing but other than that went well. this third one was in the outer quad and seemed to go fine too, today there is a small lump that feels a lot like an insect bite there, the pip that was there yesterday is almost gone, so is this lump ok? what does it mean? (if anything). There is very very little fat on this part of my leg if it helps.

I pin twice a week and every now and then I do get a small lump under the skin that looks and feels like a fresh mosquito bite. It's a hematoma that's caused by nicking a small blood vessel on the way in or out, and never anything to worry about.
thanks for the replies, ok, this is well embarrassing, but i have just been looking at it since coming back from gym, and the lump is actually about 2cm away from where i injected, meaning it is a bite!! i must have been too dosy when i posted this morning! doh, LOL. sorry about that. cheers anyway!
AnonI had the same thing happen this morning. There are a few things that cause it, you either twisted the needle or you were pushing it against the skin too hard. Also happens if you move while on a shot. In general try to take it a lot slower next time that is what i am going to do, getting impatient with the shots lately
It could be an infection, sounds like you sterilized the injection spot, and vial, which makes me think perhaps your gear is not sterile. Are you injecting home-brew gear? If not what lab is the gear?
Hopefully the spot will heal on its own.
i reaslised i should have added a couple of things to this: i used a 1.25 23g pin, wiped vial top and skin with medi wipes, i aspirated and got the bubble, no blood, there were a few drops of blood after pulling the pin out. Cheers
