Rhabdomyolysis

ad

Just was diagnosed with this, Doc says to quit training for a while. Muscles are breaking down internally and releasing myoglobin into my bloodstream. Causes kidneys to work overtime. Anyone else ever have this?

Can't offer you any more info than the guys have already given, but wish you well on the road to recovery,

There's been a couple of guys on here that had it. You see it in cross-fit.

It's actually not that common, but it can be seen in very strenuous exercise particularly marathon runners . Were you properly hydrating and how much do you train? Curious to know how high your Ck was. How are they treating it, I hope if you have real rhabdo they have aggressively treated you with Iv fluids.
