Recover from surgery

I’m having an emergency epigastric hernia surgery.
In the last 4 weeks of my cycle. I kept pushing it thinking I could make it to the end if i switched things up abit. Unfortunately it became incarcerated restriction on veins.
Anyways
, I’ve looked up pretty extensively.
Quick healthy Recovery from surgery. 4-6 weeks heal up time is what doc says. I can walk on treadmill afterwards.
The question for those with experience
What’s the feel on this.
Finish out my cycle. July 13 is the my 20th instead of pct

8:55a.m where I’m at. Bout to take me back at 10.
So they are installing mesh, instead of going in the middle robotically, like the last surgeon did for my inguinal repair.
She is going to go either in my left or right side .
Where the white tabs are. So I won’t have reoccurring issue.
Are they installing a mesh? Or are they able to perform the surgery laparoscopic surgery?
Blood work will be done before making any decision at the end.
The circled area is about 4 fingers wide.
It’s right in the crevices of the abs. Had a robotic inguinal hernia and it tore the scar tissue and all downhill from there.
