I think, to be balanced, has more to do with the way you handle things mentally, compared to scheduling them physically.
don't sweat the small things .. and they are all small. get a schedule, make a plan, execute the plan, don't wait for "when" or "tomorrow" because tomorrow never comes. It is always Today.
bigwillyI like that, don't sweat the small shit. I do though ! cant help it haha. I have that disease where shits gotta be flowing ya know. my brain is pretty primitive yet I take on more, and more and more. I feel like my fitness suffers from so many other things going on and that's not fair because im crazy about kepping in shape! im also crazy about green haired chicks, lol. im gona try to talk to the wife about the green hair but don't think its gona fly,,,,well see. thnk you sweety your reply was magic, much better advise then get a chalk bourd or make notes. ill be needing ya shortly on another issue.
You will never "find" time to go to the gym. You have to make time and schedule it just you would a meeting at work.
routine and habit bro, I train on my lunch hour from work, no exceptions it must be automatic like putting on your pants everyday. if something is that important to you make it known and those that support and love you will except and encourage it. I have a little leeway on my job being I work for the schools if my hour turns into a hour and a half like on leg or back day I'll just stay that extra half hour at the end of the day. however it was something I made known and negotiated when I was hired.
I always find that if I try to simplify things and make one thing a priority at a time, that I'm able to get more things done. Start by saying that you will get your fitness down by going to the gym 5 times a week (for example) no matter what. Get that done and move onto other areas. You can really start with anything and lock it down. If you try to fix everything at once, you stay frustrated and keep half-assing everything just to stay afloat.
I run my house like a machine. I have a dry erase board on the fridge that keeps everyone on time for their events. You just have to be organized, and that starts with a clean living environment. From there, you make your meals in bulk and there should be no reason to be out of sync.
