Packaging issues, vial breaking, big mess.. Need advice.

ad

First off I'd like to say that this is part of a promo.

Now, I don't care about the vial. The problem is that the packaging got blotched due to the oil, and it was delivered to a neighbor instead. They used a magnifying glass and a hairdryer to see the lettering. they called me after opening the package since they saw vials and he's on TRT (Old neighbor..)

He claims that he will be telling the mailman that illegal steroids are being delivered to MY address accidentally.

I ~do not want~ to pay for a P.O. box because of somebody's packaging mistakes... This is retarded and simply bullshit.

What the fuck do I do to fix this FUCKING mess?

Edit: I'd rather not pay for a P.O. box because of somebody's packaging mistakes*

In a pleasant and concerned tone, tell your old asshole neighbor that you were approached by US Postal Inspectors who were investigating a rash of 'US Mail tampering' complaints in the area. But you didn't tell them about his 'tampering'... yet. But he needs to keep his mouth shut to avoid jail time since he violated US Postal law.

Destruction, Obstruction and Delay of Mail (18 USC 1700, 1701, 1702 & 1703)
The Postal Inspection Service upholds federal statutes aimed at securing customers' mail, including
those related to the desertion, obstruction, delay or destruction of mail. Postal Inspectors demonstrate
their resolve by implementing mail security processes to ensure that customers receive their mail intact
and free from outside interference.

Perfect! I think that's the exact thing I'm going to do. I was thinking about it for a while and how I should approach him but I think that's the best way.

I wish I could be calm and follow my own advice, but when it comes to assholes who 1. invade your privacy and tamper with your mail, and 2. threaten to report you to the authorities, I tend to lose my cool and want to rip the mother fucker's head off. Does this rat asshole realize that he'd be reporting himself for mail tampering?

Sound advise! Your neighbour sounds like a right wanker!

Denser's picture

Wankers are everywhere. You sir, must be from the UK. Cheers from across the pond mate.

GrowMore's picture

Bloody hell, how did you know that mate ;) yeah they are unfortunately, but being cool, calm and collected is the way to deal with them! Next time I have a problem I'll come to you!

Denser's picture

Bloody hell, how did you know that mate

Because 'wanker' is a word that's generally exclusive to the UK... so is 'bloody hell' ;-D We in the US don't use these terms, although I find them to be quite amusing and wish I heard them more often.

Yeah, I try to be calm, cool and collected but have a low tolerance for ignoramuses. If you do have a problem in the future, help is only an ocean away. Cheers mate!

Can you tell us whether you ended up with the pack...just tell the mailman next time you see him...be like my neighbors going senile hes been talking to himself and telling me crazy stories his daughter said theyre going to have to put him in a home soon

Eccentric's picture

I wouldn't think twice about it. Probably a mistake that will never happen again. The mailman doesn't give 2 shits what he's delivering! And like hrdbodygrrrl said, meds are delivered 24/7 via the USPS. So I wouldn't give it a second thought.

I would have a chat with my source if the pack wasn't secure though.

Good luck!

kodiakGRRL's picture

How does this neighbor know that they are illegal... I get my meds delivered through the mail all the time ..

OmNom's picture

lololol.. he's prlly past that argument I assume.. I'll use that one if this ever happens to me though =p

OmNom's picture

Why not tell the asshole to not tell the mail man at all.............. the fuck is his problem.. givem some hard candy or w/e old ppl like these days.. also does this source not know what vacuum seal is?

I'd have a heart to heart with the old guy before he opens his mouth.. if it doesn't work then move on from there

Okay I got a few good ideas thank you guys. I'm more than likely going to get a P.O. box now, and as for this coming back to bite me in the ass I will do as PinPusher said and make it clear that it's illegal to touch other peoples mail.

Thank you!

I believe it would only have been illegal if he took it out of your mailbox and opened it.It was delivered to his mailbox.

PinPusher's picture

It still illegal, you have to go through the US Postal Inspectors to file a claim if you receive a wrong package. If your not the one who's name is on the package it is illegal to open it even if there a minor. I would scare the hell out of that old man with law suits...bet that will shut him up.

extremediezel's picture

tell him the truth.. its my juice bro...give it here, if you open my stuff again im fucking kill you... nobody can prove shit.. just get a P.O better safe then in court

"They used a magnifying glass and a hairdryer to see the lettering. they called me after opening the package since they saw vials and he's on TRT"

Did you tell him that it is illegal to tamper or open other peoples mail! And so is Slandering!

scoobydoo's picture

Did you tell him it was yours? You could go over and tell him that you googled what was in the package and he was right,it is steroids. Then ask him what you should do.This way you can kind of feel him out to see if he is in fact going to tell the mailman.I don't know, just a thought.

Thank you!! That's what I wanted to read.

I should mention he's very old... Lol.

theres not much you can do bro, maybe in the comments box next time put a friendly little note about it,sometimes it gives an option to deliver to neighbour if not home, I had a real bad incident like this one time where I wasn't home and my package went to the post office, when I went to get it the lady went out the back and got it for me, oil was leaking out and she had it all over her hands, she placed it down and grabbed scissors, she was going to open it to see, im like nooo don't worry about it, (im ozzie) so would of involved police. I said its very expensive tattoo removal solution and cruised, I never used that post office again.

ScripthookV's picture

Yeah a little lame but I understand. That is very crazy by the way! I would probably have just said that it's not what I ordered if that happened and the person actually opened it..

i would think with the cost of aas, the food, training all the time dedicated to training a po box would be minor, but i dont know your situation.

play dumb, as in not yours?

ScripthookV's picture

I exaggerated. Yes, I will obviously pay for a P.O. box but is there anything I could do to prevent it?

things will break, get lost, etc.
we dont have control over everything in life.
you could mention it to shipper to warn him and maybe he will try to package better? but again, shipper has no control if a delivery person is having a bad day and wants to throw the 50# tv on said package.

ScripthookV's picture

LOL.. Yes very true, and unfortunately it looks to be the case. I think more of a 55" would be fit considering the mess.

My neighbor should've just not even asked questions and put it in my mailbox, it's what I would have done.

I am not going to pay for a P.O. box because of somebody's packaging mistakes

This is a rough game bro, this ain't eBay... If you are choosing NOT to take all of the available precautions in YOUR illegal activities then its on YOU

Holiday season is upon us and YES the mail gets handled particularly rough this time of year (as it does every year at this time)

ScripthookV's picture

Sorry I'm just very wound up. If it came to it, I would pay for a P.O. box although that just makes me feel even less secure. That's a sure-fire way to have no chance at telling LEO it's not your package...

I just don't understand how a few vials that are so damn small can be literally STEPPED ON from the looks of it. It's almost as if it fell out of the mailman's vehicle, and he ran over it. It was leaking on the ground my neighbor said when he pulled it out of his mailbox... How the hell can you deliver a package like that? I mean I don't know what the mail man could have done but in all seriousness talk about taking no responsibility...

At least deliver it to the right god damn house! If my 85 year old neighbour can see the address, then so should the mail man.
