Hi, wondering if anyone could give some advice to a guy that's been out of the online ordering game for a number of years and looking to get back in. I ordered successfully from Europe many times over the years, but I did have 2 separate orders seized within a short period of time, which scared me off--so I've been buying local for the past few years, but sources are drying up a bit.
Back in the day, I remember domestic online sources were somewhat difficult to procure and were way more expensive. So I always ordered overseas. But browsing around a bit now, it seems things have changed. I see what seems to be a broad selection of different domestic sources, all with reasonable prices.
My main question is: how safe is ordering domestic? Is it close to 100%? I am a bit nervous about my name and address being flagged by a carrier for anything resembling a suspicious package, even if it does not go through customs, because of the prior seizures. I really want to go ahead and get going again, but I want as much information as possible before I take the plunge. Any help would be very much appreciated!
