+ 1 On Going Experience

So, Eroids definitely has been an asset to my life, I thank you for that which is why I share which is meaningful.

I've been hitting the gym now for 30 years and have I put in the work. I've really been buying into the Mike Mentzer philosophy and not doing as many reps/sets.

Legs have increased their muscle maturity beyond my own comprehension as well as all my other body parts.
I no longer follow the 4 sets of 10 routine as I just felt as if I was overtaining. I'm now doing sets of 25, 30, 40 and even 60. Has anyone seen Eddie Hall rep 85pd dumbells for 60 reps. That motivated the hell out of me so I instantly began pushing with that number in mind. Mind you he did 85's per hand but I'm no Eddie Hall but I dove right in doing Smith Machine 70lbs for 40 straight and I'm trying to hit 60 but one set and done.

For legs I'll throw on 315 for 25-30 straight Smith Machine then done, only stimulating the muscles while yet gaining strength, stamina, and endurance.

Some muscles like arms ill do EZ curl for 25 straight with 66 pounds total and I'm done, as well as Triceps, one exercise 25-30 reps at a weight that's say 80 percent of my 1RM then I'm out.

I've noticed no burnout but motivation and my muscles stay fresh to the point where I can do my legs 1 set everyday. For Leg Press I'll just put on 5plates each side 30 straight then who's next.

Just give this a try, I'll post some pics of my legs shortly, guys I'm on just a shot of test E 250 e10 days but I'd prefer to be on a shot of Test P100 once e10days but I take the entire250. I'm really in the best shape of my life, I'm not huge I'm currently 86kilo but I'm in phenomenal shape for a 49 year old, and I don't drink, I do smoke some green and I have great muscle definition thanks to my genetics, I don't eat everything either....

I know a few freaks at my gym that train this way. Do you feel that injury is a concern at super sayain 3 intensity?? I lean towards volume myself especially at 35 I’m afraid to Jack something up.

Thanks for stopping by, you doing alright out there? I truly think this aids in the avoiding of injuries again shoot for about 80% of your 1RM, get a warmup and then knock it out. This has actually kept me from getting injured working muscles everyday and not ego lifting which has made me reach for NPP or Deca....

I’m doing good man, I’m that PCT part of my cycle so you know how that is. I started messing around a bit yesterday in my Back and Bi workout last night with some drop sets on the last set of a few exercises and man I think it was the refresh I needed. I really felt it during curls.

I was looking at running NPP next cycle after I’m off cycle for about 20 weeks want to make sure my health comes back you know.

Glad to hear you're well and motivated. Motivation is crucial, coming off a cycle, eh, that's when I have the most motivation.

I really like the Mentzer/Yates training style. It has helped me move beyond some sticking points I’ve had in the past. I think most of us overtrain, it’s part & parcel of the mentality that got us all into this lifestyle in the first place. I’ve come to the conclusion that, employing a great amount of intensity while avoiding overtrain is crucial and leads to the best results (for me).

I really had to go through trial and error regarding my gym lifestyle. Before I didn't know when to hit the gas, I was always lifting to max but after 3 months my immune system was shot and I would have to take a month off to clear my limits...I just got tired of trying to prove nothing. Honestly this approach has me so motivated and I'm not waistting valuable time in the gym, I get and get out
