Liver enzymes
ad
Had blood work completed recently, the results came back and all was normal with them apart from GGT and ALT levels. GGT was slightly raised at 38.8g/l but ALT was 195.0g/l.
Has anyone else had this where ALT was very high but everything else was in range?

qu1cKrGet some Milk Thistles or Sylimarin and avoid drinking for atleast 2-3 months. It worked for me
Just had it confirmed by the doctors that it’s down to a viral infection, came back in blood tests.
Thanks for your help everyone, very much appreciated as it was scary for a few days.
I would stay away from the orals to let that liver settle down.
Definitely will, ALT level was 63 so nearly there now but don’t know whether I’ll risk it even if it does become a normal level.
Alphamale500That's certainly better than a lot of wosre things that it could've been! Congratulations bro, that's great news!
Have you run a cycle within the last few months/last year? You might have a case of acute cholestasis from previous cycle/s.
Alphamale500Are you sure you don't have any type of pre-existing liver issues like NAFLD, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease? Because if you had something like this, taking the anavar could've brought up your ALT levels. Don't let the word disease scare you, NAFLD is actually a fairly common ailment in the U.S. and it's reversible when detected early.
But you should stop the anavar immediately before you do permanent damage/scarring to your liver. And if your ALT levels don't come down to normal levels you should see your primary care doctor, or a gastroenterologist. Maybe your body just can't take any type of C17aa steroid. Good luck with everything bro!
I'm gonna send you a fr request, in case you have any questions.
What compounds have you been on??
Alphamale500He said just 3 days of 50mg/day of anavar. Those are some high ALT levels right?
Thank you everyone, I really appreciate your help, ordering all those ASAP.
Try TUDCA! It is effective for liver enzymes. Also try the stuff Alphamale suggested. If you don't get in normal ranges with this supplements go to a Doc!
Alphamale500Milk thistle extract(80%silymarin), NAC, and Phosphatidylcholine will help bring those ALT levels down. Many different kinds of toxins can cause this and even eating too much saturated fats or sugars. You're obviously putting too much strees on your liver with something. Elevated liver enzymes obviously does sometimes happen to people using gear, usually orals. But yours are very high. I would switch up something if I were you.
nice!
x2! Alpha knows this game.
3 days into an Anavar cycle of 50mg a day, felt a little unwell with nausea, stopped taking them and had bloods checked.
I was taking a Liver health supplement from Viabotics, which worked brilliantly 12 months before. Zero alcohol, no painkillers, healthy diet.
I work on a ship twice a year, can’t get needles on and I lose that much weight I wanted to take something. Used it about 12 months ago with no issues at all.
RustyhookerWow, well try the posted info above and id check witj dr as well because 3 days var shouldnt be giving high readings.
Yeah, 3 days of var should be no big deal. Something else going on and I would be concerned and checking in with a doc for sure.
RustyhookerWhat are you taking thats killing you from the inside? Orals, booze, combo?
