+ 4 Lets Get Your Mind Right..
At the beginning of my bodybuilding career, I had to make sacrifice, friendships 20 years in the making, relationship 5 years in the making, anarchy, drugs, bars etc.... but looking back it's the best thing I ever did, I conquered my demons, I fought my afflictions and came out victories, but every day during that fight; it wasn't easy, far from it. I guess what it boils down to, is how bad do you want it? Do you want it worst than the next guy? I damn sure do, and that's why I do 12 reps per set instead of 10... I know my enemy, my opposition, my opponent is only doing 10; to me 10 is just a warm up... My point is bodybuilding is ALL about YOU, it's completely isolated, completely egocentric, completely self preservation and propagation to the apex of your collective hardship.. If you find yourself faltering, or the weight of the world dragging you down, give this video a look see.. there has been many of nights, I had to fight my demons and this video made that fight so much easier...

The only voice I hear when I'm training is that of my trainer whom I affectionately call Dr. Doom. With him there are no feeble excuses, no valid reasons for not being able to do more and more and always more. He just piles the plates on and I lift. I don't have time for negativity. I don't do a lot of thinking in the gym. I don't ponder the universe, examine my life, review the day. I don't do enough thinking in general, maybe that's the problem. Ha!
Nice videos bro. Very nice. Thumbs up from me.
I hear what you're saying, the only voice I hear is mines and it's always yelling at me saying "You got to do more, more damn it more" I know what you mean bro; we are on a mission and NOTHING matters, but that weigh on the bar in front of you... Just like Kai Greene said, "If I die here tonight, If this weight is going to kill me, then so be it, I'm in the place I love, doing what I love" either I'm going to make it or break it, there's NO backing down, theres no turning around, there is NO dropping the weight... it's time for war, lets fight.
I got everything Arnold said in Pumping Iron in my head when I wanna quit.
And remember what Viking (I think) said "if you're not working harder than 90% of the people in the gym, then you're not working hard enough"
I already was before I read that but it still helps some days.
definitely working on this man. its hard to carry yourself differently after being a downer for a long time.

Mr KfizzleDamn that was a good speech! Thanks for sharing that Bro! I can't want to go tell my older brother the best part.
I just told my boss that and they didn't know how to react, so I went to my old boss and he said I could start again monday... LOL so when I pick my check up this coming sunday night, and walk out without giving them a warning, they will call me and I will say "If you want to keep getting what you're getting, just keep doing what you're doing" And then I will hang the phone up... LOL
Mr KfizzleMan thats great, old boss must really have pissed u off lol.
That line seriously can be used all day long! I think that's going to be my new motto Bro, I'm putting it on my profile right now!
LOL no no the old boss was cool, its the piece of shits I'm working for now... they give me a raise and take my hours... what a wezel fucking thing to do bro....
It's an excellent moto bro!! I'm really glad it was helpful to you! I use to wake up early bro, 5-6am for cardio and I would listen to that video every morning and it always made a cool chill go down my spine...

Mr KfizzleDamn that's good, some strong mofos on that video man. The ending made me smile really big when side jumped up all excited about getting 405 on bench. There's no better feeling than breaking new PR's!
Hell yeah bro I live to destroy PR's LMAO...I have a powerlifting comp coming up in december... every week i'm making a new PR dude.. on all my compound lifts, up 10-15 lbs every week.. so by december I can add another 100 lbs to all my compound lifts.... I'll be pulling bench 405 lbs, squat 455 lbs and deadlift 555 lbs.
Mr KfizzleOhhhh duh lol it's getting late, completely missed that it was the new boss, I see now. It's deff some bs man.
Thanks again for the share Bro! Profile updated (:
Burren247Right on brother. I've been sober 16 months now and coming from being an Ex Gentlemen's Club manger alcohol, drugs and the night life definitely had it's hold on me not to mention the titties. I went out on Saturday night with an old friend I haven't seen in 13 months. Needless to say something just don't change. I drank water and Redbull all night but my friend on the other hand was doing shots every 20 minutes. Don't get me wrong there is a time and place for everything but by the end of the night he couldn't even talk. It made me realize I've made the right decision by staying sober and focusing on what really matters to me and that's my Family and my health. Sometimes I wish I could go out and go balls to the wall like I use to but then I ask myself do I really want to throw all the hard work that I did this week away on 6 hours of drunkenness which may lead to cocaine use....probably would lead to cocaine use. I'm comfortable where I am in my life now and am glad I had the chance to rage when I did. But now it's time to turn myself into something much Bigger & Better.
Strength does not come from winning.
Your struggles develope your strengths.
When you go through hardships
And decided not to surrender,
That is strength.
Lift Hard and Smart my friends
Congratulations on your sobriety bro. It really does get easier as the years pass. 4th ed. p 417 "Acceptance is the answer . . . " Sure is. I accept the fact I can't drink now as easily as I accept the fact I'm allergic to penicillin.
Burren247Right on brother. Jas 1:3: "Because you know that the testing of your will develops perseverance" Thanks bro
Thanks for stopping in Gearhead.. I appreciate it bro.
I stopped surrounding myself around all the negativity a few years back, best decision I ever made. So many people I know stuck like its 1997 its ridiculous. I always get this response when I see em "dude you've changed" no brother,i've just matured and grown outside your ways of thinking thats all.
Yes sir, you know it bro +1
I agree with what you said seen couple of old friends who said samething. Yo come chill I'm good I don't go backwards
LMAO
Thats how I see it too, I've seen and done shit that I really dont care to repeat
It sucks when somehow you get fooled into living with a negative cancerous person. Gotta make sure they don't drag you down to. Idk how I let this happen, oh well only 1 month left of this bullshit.
My roommate is a fat, drug selling, video gaming LOSER.. all day pot and video games, he's in his thirties and lives at home with mommy... no job in 5 years, food stamps and government phone... complete piece of shit... so I know what your talking about bro...
Roommate?
"If there is no enemy within, the enemy outside could do us no harm." I hear you speaking Nooka!
I really like that myself bro, I have a meme on the wall I made with that saying bro... right on the back of my door...first thing I see when leaving the house.
No doubt brother I have that mind set a people around that's like that will make you drown not to mention also deep down you think people are your friends but envy you I some people say so but to me it got really ugly I used to give my left nut for my ex friend lol since elementary come to find out deep down he hated me bcuz his mom would put me up him down its a long story point is I can relate lol.
Yes brother, the people who are not helping you are burdening you... NEVER listen to another person negativity, they want you to fail, because they are incapable of accomplishing what you are DOING. The world is a really nasty place, fucking nasty bro.. there are more people that want you to fail than to succeed; you have to really listen to them and pick up on that subliminal bullshit they hide in every comment bro; jealous is a really nasty fucking emotion... it has sparked wars in the past, killing thousands....
