kill bro science- intramuscular injections
ad
Has anyone ever heard of lying down after a IM injection to stop any oil escaping (bleeding small amounts). Yes this sounds very funny, but for years I just took the advice, as it sort of made sense since I always had a hot shower and heated the oil to help with pip (concept oil gets thinner when warm) my question has anyone heard this? And know any science about it? Preferably medical trained. I still do it? Why risk it ;)
Someone please clean this up for me, google is having problems and can't find the aanswer. Spare the jokes

Found some interesting information and it is possible for the oil to leak after injecting; my research has these sure fixes
1. Use a longer needle, Eg. Gets deeper in the muscle
2. Z track ttechnic
3. Use smaller guage
4. Hold the barell in for 10 seconds
5. Gravity, lye down and wait for your body to seal the wound, stop bleeding. Hold an alcohol swob to keep clean.
Please research your own, not sure how sound these are.
All of the above, yes. Except Z track is very hard to do on your own in the more awkward spots, I gave up on that.
Can't seem to find the answer? Been through a few of those links, which one specifically
RustyhookerMagnifying glass up top. Lotta info. Read this a while.

thankS. Keep forgetting about the search bar haha
RustyhookerNo worries. In hospital it's mass injection. Bang, bandaid and next....
No small pins, slow injection, heating etc. Assembly line service and typically Lotta pip.
Methods noted up there and techniques in those forums are big saver.
