Infections

ad

As far as infection is concern, if keep to sanitize injection practices...clean site area, use new pins/syringe, etc, I should be good to go? I'm assuming the ug gears are fairly clean? Thanks!

Heating at 200 for 20 minutes in an oven doesn't harm the hormone or it's integrity? Couldn't this lead to the oil oxidzing quicker?

Ug gears is clean bro, most infection is due to lazyness or a bad injection... it happpend to me but its not a common thing... i had only 1 infection in 8 cycles,, many many injections,. if you keep using alcohol and clean your hands before injection, you should be fine .

Your infection..did you have to see doc to fix or did you self fix with antibiotics?

Hey thanks! Does pin sizeincrease/decrease chances of infection ie 22g vs 25g?

No it doesn't but it does determine the level of scar tissue you will build up. I draw with a 22 gauge and inject with a 25 gauge for less scar tissue. Also when you want to reply to a post hit the reply button that is on my post and it will put you right under who you are talking to so the conversation is understandable.

Best thing if you have the ability to do is this in my opinion. Wash the area of the injection site with anti-bacterial soap thoroughly. Make sure that you use a draw needle and then you switch to an injection needle to prevent any rubber stopper bacteria. Then swab the site with an alcohol wipe thoroughly not just in the small area of injection but also in a good diameter around it because you can't always guarantee strict accuracy. Last use individual alcohol swabs because if you use the same bottle over and over you do risk bacteria forming on the lip of the alcohol bottle and having the cotton touching it.
