+ 7 Importance of keeping your blood thin
ad
Hey everyone. I just wanted to tell you the importance of keeping your blood thin while taking anabolics. I see people in their 20s and 30s having strokes and heart attacks on a regular basis. For those of you on large doses of test, eq, dbol etc or on multiple compounds remember you are thickening your blood.
The easiest way to stay safe- take a 81mg baby aspirin daily! It might just save your life or if could be the difference between a major stroke like not being able to speak or one sided paralysis or a minor one and which you can regain all function. Watch your BP, take a baby aspirin enteric coated and be safe.

Area-1255Preventing heart attacks!
‘I see people in their 20’s and 30’s having strokes and heart attacks on a regular basis’
Really you do? Do you work at a hospital or are these friends/acquaintances of yours or ? Asked my bc I have hardly ever seen this in real life and barely heard of a couple in 20 years of working out.
Yes I worked on a stroke floor for 6 years at a big hospital
would you say that blood pressure and platelet count play a bigger role than hemoglobin and rbc?
You have to look at everything and then assess situation. Depends on so many things it's kinda crazy
They are all markers. High bp can lead to problems danger
High platelets can.lead to issues
High hemoglobin and rbcs is dangerous
Oh also, any common denominators for the 20’s and 30’s strokes/heart attacks? Mainly rec stuff?
Good thread thanks...
Yes cocaine meth
Any speed it's a matter of time
Friend request sent
Done
I'm adding clenbuterol to the list. It's dangerous and half this site is planning on running it lol
Any idea what rbc range starts to become dangerous?????
Just to give the lads more of an idea when they should really start to worry when they get bloods ;)
Off my head I would say if your hematrit is 50 and your hemoglobin is 17 or above those your taking you much
Cheers mate
Anytime. Any questions just let me know
Family history number 1 factor
Not throwing facts out. Helping you with what I see
You can get away doing just about anything until you hit your mid 30s. Then all that stupid shit builds and after that it's just a matter of time
Enteric coated 81mg aspirin with a meal if your healthy won't harm you
But it will lessen the severity of the cva or heart attack down the line. I have seen it and it it's real. So I take it every damn day.
I just want some of you to be freaking careful. It's my bday so I will help more tomorrow. I have a wife to make love to;)
Happy bday bro! Aquarians are cool
Thanks man great to hear you got some baby aspirin. Better safe than sorry
Thanks, 5+ years ago I was taking baby aspirin without any problems. Then I read something saying possible danger...with long term use and then possibly when/if stopping. I believe I was 28 or 29 at the time. I’ve heard of older guys 50+ ex heart issues being rx’d it by Dr.’s.
B.B.’s in the 90’s took it with ephedrine and caffeine for thermal kinesis...
I’m 35 now, on a good amount of gear. I think I might do a bit of research and maybe throw 81mg/d back in.
Any sides/dangers you’re aware of to look into?
Thanks for your military service brother.
If I was your brother or nurse or friend i would tell you be safe and go back on it. Watch for blood in stool. Otherwise it will benefit you more than harm you. I do not claim to know a lot or pretend to be a doctor. Just a nurse who uses anabolics and want to help you guys.
Bought some at Walmart this AM after church! Sold...
Of course it's possible to eventually poop blood if you don't buy enteric coated and take with a meal.
So but coated ones and eat with breakfast and you have yourself a better chance of surviving if you throw a clot. Ty
Aspirin is one of the most studied oldest safest thing we have
Treat aspirin like a life insurance policy.
It's to help you down the road. And it is safe if you don't have medical issues. Ask your doctor when you see him and ask if ok to take baby aspirin because your taking steroids. He will nod and say yes
Hahah
I got my Ranger tab at the PX
Hey that don't count lol
Area-1255Also know your genes, lotta' guys aren't in realization that that heart attack and plaque buildup in their father, grandfather, great uncle etc could be from genetics. 23andme offers testing for all the well-known candidate genes for atherosclerosis. Hawthorne berry and ginkgo biloba could actually do the blood thinning job pretty well, ginkgo itself doesn't interact with roids so far as I know. Aspirins good too, great to keep on hand.
Always good to donate.
Hashtag1981I agree.. I will donate every 4 months now , on or off gear.
If your hemo is hardly raised, should u still donate for health?
I was gonna try a new experiment with 50 liver tabs taken daily. That amount or heme iron isn't gonna be good.
But roid blood to people?
You'd have to lie about it while donating. I don't wanna harm anyone.
Our roid blood is perfectly safe, the amount of steroid in the blood is minute.
The biggest concern at a blood bank is r use of needles. Because we use these needles we are lumped into the same category as IV drug users. If you've never shared a needle and never had gay sex you are good to go. And don't donate if you've been taking Accutane.
I've never shared a needle...
I've taken Accutane...why that
Accutane is on the list of medicines that defer you from giving blood. Only for 30 days though. It causes birth defects
so if I was taking 10mg of accutane a day, I'd have to be off for 30 days before I can donate? Just want to make sure I have your context right. I don't wanna hurt someone.
Yes bro that's what he means.....finasteride is also one of them.
As far as I'm aware the blood is filtered (cleaned) befor use so it's highly unlikely the patient would receive anything unwanted in there transplant.
I was still allowed to donate whilst on antidepressant so it can't be that big of a deal bro
Awesome thanks man.
Agreed! Donating blood is the best means since rbc is what thickens the viscosity of your blood. I prefer double rbc donations myself. Some guys neglect this until their hematocrit gets above 56. Once that happens the blood is useless to the blood bank so they'll turn you away. If this happens you can go to your doctor and get a prescription for therapeutic donations. The blood bank will then take your blood and dispose of it.
ClassyChassisAgreed. Good for you And good for the person whose life you may help save. Win-win. I donate every 8 weeks. It's no big deal. Not like I'm afraid of needles. Even 14g or whatever those harpoons are. Lol...
I have to giggle on the inside whenever the lady says "look the other way" before sticking me.
I still look the other way, lol
lol so do i. I can look after it's in, but it's something about the needle going into the vein that fucks me up.
Stay safe yes and good sentiment too thanks, but that's an uninformed blanket statement. Aspirin is not a preventative medicine for all and recommending it as such could be dangerous.
"The USPSTF found inadequate evidence that aspirin use reduces risk for CVD events in adults who are at increased CVD risk and are younger than 50 years or older than 69 years."
"A dose of 75 mg per day seems as effective as higher doses. The risk for GI bleeding may increase with the dosage. A pragmatic approach consistent with the evidence is to prescribe 81 mg per day, which is the most commonly prescribed dose in the United States."

Where did I say anything about cardiovascular disease? I was trying to help. I'm done
Quote: "having strokes and heart attacks"
Both being components of CVD
duh
I am simply stating a simple baby aspirin is safe and can save your life. Take it however you like or ignore it. Most doctors will tell you it's safe and effective. I didn't say it help BP. If your BP is high you need to treat it with a bp medication. Stay safe
Probably a bit overstated.
Not a bad precaution but, as hellobrooklyn stated, "get bloods". I would not put my health at risk blindly relying on baby/low dose aspirin.
Asprin prevents clotting, not thick blood or bp.
Prostoglandins gather and bind together and form clots, asprin inhibits the formation of them.
No reason to take a blood thinner if it's not needed. I was certain my hematocrit and RBC were going to be high after using deca, even though I gave blood. Lo and behold, the bloods showed they were perfect. Moral is, get bloods, and don't go by paranoia.
Deca isnt really known to do so.
Eq and anadrol in stacks together are the two you should worry about.
That's my mistake; I thought deca was known to increase RBC
