I bought some needles at....

So i went to a tactor supply and bought some 22G syringes. Is this a no go? I guess this may be a dumb question. Cause on the side it say "for veterinary use only". I guess after reading that on the side now i assume that there must be a different standard for "human use". Any thoughts?

I use a 22g and sometimes a 23g if it's not super thick. With 25gs, i'm too damn big and bound up to be reaching around in that position pushing for very long. I'm not trying to be funny either. I have enough trouble wiping my ass. As far as vet needles, they're fine but they don't seem to "glide" in and out like BD's or other medical grade needles to me anyway.
i get mine at a local tractor supply too, got a young girl at the register, she always gives me a look, i pin in my delts only once in a while in my glutes, theyre vet only but same quality and also sterile. so no problem to get them there. i get 18g to pull and 22gx1 to inject with and 5ml syringes, dont cost much, im sure u can getthem cheaper online but i like the ease of getting them there its 2 miles from my house
The best is
3ml 25 g 1.5. Glute
3ml 25 g 1 inch delt or quad
3ml 23 g 1 inch delt or quad

25 for glute?? Thats tiny. youd be sitting there for like 5 mins lol
I'm thinking of getting some 22G just for glutes, I'd rather have it done in 5 seconds instead of 45. At least with 23G it only takes about 20 seconds to push it all through (all 3ml's)

Surprising to say 22 is more an IV
And the use of 23-25 and even 25-27 -30 for site injection
One inch in delt
One inch and a half for glute
One inch to one inch and half in quad
Best site is delt for safety nearly no veins or nerve bundles
Use alcohol swab on vial and the skin site
Don't blow on site to dry it faster
Wash your hands before anything
Have a clean table to prepare your injections
LOL.... use them for drawing needles... there are some great sources here who ship very fast .. get the 25g 1.5 in pins and you'll never look back ... use the ones from tractor supply as your drawing needles..

Ha hell no i hate 22G I've used them before though. I was just worried about how sterile they were.
AnonIts going to be sterile it also should say sterile on the pack somewhere i know my tractor supply has sterile.
Also if you were using it on a animal you still want to use a sterile needle and syringe to prevent infections.
AnonBro I got a buddy that use 22g. The only problem is do you want that big of a needle in you.
I like a 25g personally.
But its still a sterile syringe and needle you have so its all good to use.
