+ 1 I’ve Got the Almost 2 Weeks Off Cycle Blues

ad

What’s up bros, figured I’d throw this out there and see if anyone else has experienced the same thing.
I’ve been off cycle for almost 2 weeks now and back on 180mg a week of TRT. Just trying to focus on the health side of things for a bit and get everything back in a good place.

Overall I feel pretty good. Mood is good, no real issues there and I’m still training hard. I’ve also got some health stuff I’m working on. My vitamin D was severely low so I’m getting that fixed, and I’m working on improving my HDL and LDL too.

The biggest thing I’ve noticed since coming off is just how different the gym feels.

I’m definitely not as aggressive or fired up.

Not talking about being pissed off or anything lol. More that feeling where you walk into the gym already knowing you’re about to have a killer workout.

When I was on, I’d be thinking about training all day. By the time I got there I was ready to fucking go. Everything just felt more intense and I had that extra gear.

Now I’m still training hard and getting my workouts in, but I don’t have that same feeling.

I’m a little more tired and definitely not as motivated. Nothing terrible and I don’t feel depressed or anything. Just kinda missing that “LET’S FUCKING GO” mentality.

I’ve felt this before after coming off a cycle so I’m not really worried about it. Just never really had anywhere to talk about it with other guys who actually know what I mean.

Right now I’m just trying to keep things simple. Get my vitamin D up, work on the HDL and LDL, keep an eye on bloodwork, train, eat decent and get some sleep.

Basically doing the boring shit for a while

Still, I can’t lie, I kinda miss feeling like an absolute animal in the gym.

Anyone else get this after coming off? Mood is fine and you’re still training, but you just don’t have the same fire or intensity?

Just curious how everyone else felt around this point and how long it took to feel more normal again.

Figured I’d compare notes with the bros.

Bloods tested? Sbgh? E2?

There's fixes if those are off

Totally get it, I’m less than 2 weeks from ending my blast and starting my TRT Cruise, 200mg a week is def a mind fuck when were use to pinning large amounts of gear, get through the initial couple days/weeks and the mind and body will adapt.

I get the same feeling for the first few weeks then I get used to feeling normal and try to look at it as a marathon. Towards the end of cruising though, when I’m getting close to my next blast I start getting super motivated to start smashing shit again to try go in as strong as possible. I guess for now just enjoy the good sleep and not waking up in puddles haha.

Oh man, that’s an excellent point. My wife is especially going to be happy about not having to deal with my night sweats. I was changing my sheets daily at one point.

I feel ya brother. I just come off of an 10 week tren/test/mast cycle. Only ran the mast for the first 6. Then tren test. I have found a magical thing about tren...less is more. I was running all Enanthate esters. So I was running only 300 test with 100 tren (200 mast) so as you may know the longer esters have more weight, so that only equates to about 76mg of tren a week. The result was INSANE libido, great gym aggression with minimal general anger/aggression, insane body recomp and good strength gains, and the only thing it took for me to achieve flawless sleep was 400mg of magnesium glycinate, and 200mg of L theanine before bed. So all of the good, virtually no sides, and man, my point is that on that dose, with good sleep and rest the tren had me feeling unstoppable. Great all of the time. Just a little jacked up at all times from the CNS stimulation. It was a fantastic cycle. I'm no stranger to tren. This was my 7th run with it. Never felt that good. So I'm where you're at. No depression or "down" feeling. It's just HARD to feel human again. All that said, at the end of it all my AST was slightly elevated, blood pressure quite high, and cholesterol double what it should be. So I'm in a healing phase now and obviously can't wait to get my superpowers back.

Brother, I really appreciate you sharing all of that. It’s reassuring hearing a real experience from someone who’s been through multiple runs. I especially relate to what you said about not feeling depressed, just struggling to feel completely human again.
The health markers are definitely a reminder that feeling great doesn’t always mean everything is good underneath. Respect for taking the time to recover. Thanks again for sharing, brother. Wishing you a smooth recovery and that you’re back to 100

I’m in the exact same boat bro, literally feeling what you’re feeling word for word lol. Thats how she goes though, you can’t redline forever and these phases are necessary so we can keep going for as long as possible. I for one welcome the good sleep, that’s my favorite part of dropping to cruise levels lol.

I hear you on the sleep comment too and that is honestly part of the point. I am trying to do this in a way that I can still be training hard and looking good years from now. Jay Cutler is the kind of example I want to follow. He is in his 50s and still trains hard and looks great. I would much rather have that kind of longevity than go the Rich Piana route. I am trying to build something that lasts instead of just seeing how hard I can push it for a few years.
