Help with sterile abcess
So I've got myself a (self diagnosed and I'm not no MD) sterile abscess. The lump is my left upper outer glute and it's been excruciating for the last 3 days. My first point of confusion comes from which pin caused it. I had injected that site 1 week prior to symptoms occurring. However I had injected my left VG the day before I noticed it. I only bring this up because I know if you don't pin deep enough the oil can migrate. I also pinned my right my VG a couple days earlier with the same mix of compounds, and got a lump (a much smaller lump that while painful it dissipated quickly). I've been pinning the same oils and sites for a while. I've also used the same technique throughout the cycle. What could be causing this? Is there anything other than time to help this heal?

WithdrawlWhen it's happened to me in the past I stuck a needle in and drained it by aspirating. If it's sterile it should just be blood. If it's blood and puss you have an infection. Obviously going to the doctor is the best advice I could give you.

Oops, let me clarify. I've had an abcess before, but that was from bad decisions I made in the past. Since I've gotten my head on straight, and started AAS I make sure I have 6 sites. 6 works for me because I've never gone more frequent than EOD.
I had the same issue once. I injected in the fat near my muscle instead of the muscle and 4 days later I almost couldn't walk. My leg swelled so much and the spot of injection was hard as a rock. I thought it was infected but it was due to the oil migrating down my leg as when I shot I immediately went and walked for about 4 hours. Now when I pin I wait at least 15 minutes elevated before I move.

Just give it some time to stay where you inject it. Anything over 1ml I have to not move for about 15 minutes mostly because of fear of it moving again lol. But I did have all the symptoms you had. If you have a fever or any serious issues you did get infected but if you are careful of making sure everything is clean you did what I did. I am so anal about cleanliness I clean the needle after I open the package, I clean the top of the vial, I then clean the needle again. I then fill it, then after removal I clean it again before injecting That's anal.
bro if you get a fever run to the doc, def take antibiotics.. an infection can spread to viral organs then you will die.. i wrote about my own experience w an infection shit can get ugly real quick

Nope, no fever, or redness. I only have some swelling and its pretty tender to the touch, also when I push down its I feel a hard lump.
you should be ok man when the fever comes thats when you need to worry
Is it warm to touch? If the pain and swelling has got worse Id get on Antibiotics and either go to Drs or consider draining it with a 23g. latter is not ideal if you dont know what you are doing.
Not warm to touch or red. It's just swollen and painful. I do have bactrim on hand (thanks again old head), but I've had an abscess before and I'm 99% sure this sterile. Thx bro.
BigBmajI stuck a pin in my last one and drained as much blood out of it as I could. Then more came out when I pulled the needle out. It helped almost immediately. The lump was essentially gone the next day.
I think I had gone into scar tissue or something because it was test from the pharmacy. I had a baseball sized knot for almost a week before I finally did something.
Good luck. I'm not sure I recommend this approach it's just what worked for me.
This might be the route I go if I don't get any relief in the next couple of days. I do have experience draining other abscesses, I just wasn't sure if it was the same way with a sterile abcess. Thanks.
