+ 1 Having blood pressure meds on hand

ad

I thought I would make a post about this because I have seen a couple posts about what people do to keep their blood pressure under control and a lot of posts from people that start taking something and experience blood pressure issues and are trying to fix the problem. Wouldn't it make sense for everyone on cycle to keep a little stash on hand of blood pressure medication as well? It is recommended to have caber on hand for 19-nors, ai's on hand for everyone using aas, and many keep antibiotics on hand in case of an infection. So if someone is going to do a cycle with dbol or tren etc wouldn't it be logical to prepare for a blood pressure issue the same way you would for prolactin sides... Just in case. Thoughts?

I have nothing against having BP meds on hand as long as you know the difference between a Beta Blocker and Ace Inhibitors!

All these meds work differently and can have side effects, so the user should know and understand their best option!

I've had BP, issues in the past and NO BP meds id recommend , they are designed to be a long term med not a med that you tk for precautions ,if you have high BP you should seek professional assistance, DO NOT TAKE BP MEDS UNLESS LEGITIMATELY PRESCRIBED. They can lower your heart rate and that's just as bad as high BP. You also should keep your cholesterol in ck not something to play with. A good heart supplement would be hawthorn berry and a good diet. To obtain a BP meds you'd need to go to a DR at that point I'd do further testing to see what your body is telling you.

I don't fully disagre here, but everyone here is taking aas meds without a prescription from a doctor. (I'm actually on dr trt). Everyone is fine with that, but not taking real meds for some serious aas side effects? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Should you try some natural remedies to see if they work, sure. In my experience though, they don't do much. There are plenty of safe BP out there. Should you get them from your doctor, absolutely! My point is that BP meds can really help and should be looked into. Letting your BP run uncontrolled has serious long term health effects.

cajunfire's picture

Total agree with you but a DR should and will have to be included in order to get BP meds, and also ck blood's and heart enzyme levels.

vhman's picture

Absolutely. I just don't get many here that run all kind of substance, but only want to run natural remedies for serious side effects. High BP is a real killer and can cause serious issues, especially long term and on multiple organs. Hope everyone gets to the doctor and talks to them about some real solutions.
I'm trt and my BP went up on my trt regimin. I went to my doctor and he put me on a lower dose BP Med. It brought my numbers right down and I do very well with it. It's an older Med, but very safe.

It's amazing how well hawthorn berry extract works for me.

There is a post somewhere on here when I was running a heavy tren cycle and I started having crazy heart issues , doctors told me I had A Fib but it was just the tren making my blood pressure go through the roof and it was making my heart act funny. So in my opinion if your going to run compounds that will affect your blood pressure you should definitely have Meds on hand . Especially if your already prone to high blood pressure issues or messing with big doses.

+1 for being smart. Don't fuck around with high BP, whenever possible!

I have a stockpile I have a prescription for it. Good to have especially if you need it. At one point and time my bp was out of control from my diet alone.

I have a good stock pile as well, my mom has had high blood pressure as far back as I can remember. And she doesn't take it every day, usually every other something like that. But I only take it when it's really high because it has a mild diuretic mixed in with it. Makes me piss and piss. It's called ziac, ever heard of it? It does work, but I just don't like the water coming out of me. It's not a strong diuretic but I notice I'll piss 4-5 times more in a day then usual

I have had high blood pressure for the past decade. My Dr prescribed me a both Metoprolol
and Ramapril. My Doc knows I juice and is fine with it. I only use Test, Dbol, and Deca and have never had any problems. I will tell you that blood pressure meds are not something to fuck around with. Like someone said below low blood pressure is just as bad if not worse then high blood pressure. When I am on cycle I check my bp frequently and am always in range. I would not mess with BP meds unless you are prescribed by a dr. If you are taking something and your bp is too high stop taking it. You only live once...

Well considering ACE inhibitors have almost no side effects besides potentially high potassium they're both perfectly safe and very cheap for solving this issue. The guys below are right in their caution, people should usually not self prescribe but in this case there's really not a whole lot you can do that's seriously harmful, provided you use ACE inhibitors and not diuretics. High BP for long periods of time would be much worse. Research anything heavily before use, in this case the renin-angiotensinogen pathway. I always keep lisinopril on hand when running tren and it works perfectly

gymrat83's picture

That is the conclusion I came up with while I was researching. I am not taking anything that would cause a blood pressure spike but it would be a good idea to have a small amount of an ace inhibitor just in case.

Cialis. Just wasn't made for boners.

My Dr. and I have never bullshitted eachother. Im prescribed trt and bp is fine while just running that dose. He knows very well what I do and that from time to time I will add another compound in the mix which does raise my bp. He's on board with my decisions though does not condone it...ofcourse. Anyhow I have a prescription for Lisinopril which I do take when I add another ingredient and symptoms begin to arise. It is monitored by myself at home and my Dr. which is the only person to turn to for such issues...

Tron what meds do you take?

gymrat83's picture

At least it is only on cycle. Glad you got checked out right away. That is why I made the post though because I saw a lot of people looking for help after they recognized the issue. I was just wondering if it would be a good idea to be prepared for it before hand and if anyone does.

That's what I was hoping to hear guys. I was just curious about why people don't or do think it would be a good idea. I don't have blood pressure issues.

I'm sorry to hear that man. I know what you mean though. My thing was superdrol back in the day. I contribute my stomach being super sensitive to it. I am being over prepared these days. Wish you well buddy

If you have a medical condition/are sick, you go to the doctor. We don't cure anybody here and do not promote it. We are not doctors ( majority at least). We discuss safest ways of using drugs by healthy individuals. Even with low T, nobody will tell you to start trt, everyone here will send you to an endo. This is too serious to fuck with and by using some of those meds without doctor's supervision you may cause more harm than good.

If you have blood pressure issues you best be handling it through a Dr. Not self prescribing by trial and error with this stuff. Bp is nothing to fuck with. Too low blood pressurebis almost as bad as high. If you need them go to the Dr. Just saying
