+ 2 labsmd female hormone panel name change

ad

I just wanted to update everyone that the female hormone panel on labsmd that we need with estradiol and testosterone is now called the menopause panel. I was searching around for the female hormone panel but only could find the male hormone panel and a bunch of fancy anti aging upsell tests for way more money. They just changed the name and the test is still 72.99. Going for my menopause blood work next week!! Haha Cheers guys

Super smooth experience. Make an appointment like every post on the subject says. I was a little bit late for my appointment. Arrived at 8:56 for 8:45 appointment. Followed website instructions to take requisition form and id, no insurance card. 20 people waiting, 2 went back before they called me to the next waiting area, 1 person went back to take blood before me even though 5 were already waiting, I went back to her station next and had a little convo about being happy the cold weather was gone.. Done in a minute. I was back in my car at 9:15 exactly while the lobby was still full of new and people that were there before me. A very nice experience you can look forward to, not dread.

I just wanted to follow up and let everyone know I spoke to labs md a moment ago and the hormone panel for females and the menopause panel are exactly the same. As long as you choose male as your gender during the checkout prompts your reference ranges will be correct. I gave them feedback to tell them putting hormone panel for hypogondal males in the men's section would simplify the process very much. Blood work tomorrow. Post results when I get them

It's still there. It's the Hormone Panel for Females. But it looks identical to the menopausal.

No problem guys. And to give you a final update your requisition paper from labsmd that you print out to take to the lab does not say menopause any where on it. It just gives them the lab test to run under the description of what you purchase. So just pay for the menopause exam and don't worry about the lab people looking at you strange.

Thanks man. I just didn't want everyone to have to search for it or think it wasn't available anymore.

You should ask for it as the Andropause panel and see what reaction you get.

Lol man I am used to reactions at this point so I don't think they could surprise me anymore. I get weird looks for being healthy and on trt, but the majority of people I see working in the doctors offices and in the medical facilities I have had to go to are obese. They probably have a medicine cabinet full of prescription pills for all the ailments being very overweight causes them, but I get the weird looks.... The irony
