Just a had a friend call needing to know what to put on a chemical burn, he had put Nair on his chest and nipples. So here is a breakdown for all those shavers by body part.

First and foremost let's discuss what hair removal cream is and what it does. Nair and other hair removal creams are made up of Calcium Hydroxide and Sodium Hydroxide, these compounds dissolve the hair follicle just under the skin at the root; much like the lye scene in Fight Club, if left on too long on any non-glabrous part of the body WILL result in chemical burns. This chemical is used for a host of reasons -easy fast removal of hair -hair removal in areas that can not be seen and dangerous to shave with a razor - hair removal without leaving bumps like shaving against the hair growth direction.

HEAD:

DO NOT NAIR YOUR HEAD/SCALP.
The hair on the scalp is highly saturated with sebaceous glands, capillaries and nerves. Any irritation on regular skin arms legs etc. will be multiplied on the scalp. Link below to pic.

BACK:

OK, But you can't go it alone.
Many men have lower back patches which are easy to remove with chemical hair removal products. But the hair higher on the back can't be reached effectively unless your some type of contortionist. Have the cream applied AND removed by someone that can see what the hell is going on. Even the super thick back skin can be burned after 7 - 10 min.

CHEST:

Easy enough to see but look out for the nipples. If you thought all skin was the same suck your women's forehead then go to her nipples and see which she likes better. Especially when using gear the nipples in men get hyper sensitive. I'm not talking about gynecomastia, I'm talking about hormone levels, when on gear your estrogen level rises along with your testosterone causing a distinct awareness of your nipples. Should you get hair removal product on the nipple your going to wish you had never been born with them, very high level of discomfort bordering pain. Ditto for the ladies.

ARMS:

Slather away. As long as there are no scrapes or sunburned areas go ahead but not the arm pits.

ARM PITS:

This is a tricky one. Persons with desensitized tissue under the arm may and that's MAY not have any adverse reaction to chemical hair removal. Swimmers, wrestlers, body builders and women in general that have years of shaving experience are on this list, but the guy in his late twenties that has never shaved his underarm better look out. It will feel like you've just fast roped a 5 story building with the rope under your arms. If you want to try it you can measure 3-4 inches from the center of your armpit towards your elbow and place a dime size spot of removal cream, wait 3 - 5 minutes and wipe off in shower as instructed. Wait 24 hours to see if the is any adverse reaction then place another dime size patch between he center of the pit and where you placed the last treatment repeat steps and wait another 24 hours, it may sound like a hassle but it's better than the agony of jumping in head first.

GROIN / CROTCH:

MEN:

KEEP AWAY FROM THE MEATUS (PRICK, HEAD, HELMET etc.)
The back of the scrotum and the meatus are very sensitive. You can spot test the back of the scrotum by applying a very small amount with a Q-Tip in this area, wait 5-7 minutes wipe away and rinse as directed, wait 24 hours. If no adverse reaction place condom over penis, you can tie off with rubber band if you experience slippage. DO NOT apply rubber band TOO TIGHT. (If you don't know what too tight is go ahead, without your dick you can't negatively effect the gene pool with any retarded offspring, at least not easily) Coat the scrotum and pelvic area with product wipe away and rinse as directed.

LADIES:
You can use chemical hair removal on the vulva. Keep away from the clitoris and vagina. You ladies are generally smarter than the men so I won't go into which is which or why. You can spot test on the upper outside vulva, where the "lips" blend into the pelvic area with a dime sized amount. To get all the hair take tissue roll it like a play-doh snake spread the vagina and use the tissue to act as a barrier between the area in which the product is applied and the vagina. Follow instructions.

ANUS:

NO, wax or leave it alone. Not only can it cause chemical burns and irritation, the pain of the tissue stretching and contracting during bowel movements will be reminiscent of the shower scene in American History X. That's 2 Edward Norton referrals in one post, gotta be worth something.

LEGS:

Sure treat them like arms, including tops of toes and feet.
