+ 3 First Day Back at it
ad
So today was the first day back after surgery and considering I can't do much with my upper body ofcourse I hit legs. I killed those fuckers or "little dancer legs" as they've been called lol. And unfortunately within 5 minutes of leaving my preworkout meal was all over the street. Oh well good to not feel like a sack of shit on the couch anymore

i hate throwing up after leg day. happened to me too many times. one time i filled up my shaker bottle b/c i was already in the car and had nothing else to throwup in lol
Good man for pushing yourself back into the gym. Best wishes for your recovery Ted.
Ted you are one of the smartest guys I know (at least at trivia) far from a sack of shit.... However, I know when you can't do what you love. you tend to feel less of a person. I'm so glad to hear you are getting back to it.. But remember... Pushing too much too soon can be a bad thing.. Keep the ego in check and the body your number one priority. Once you are more active the body will seem to heal more rapidly but that's not an indication of healed... It's just your body feeling better.. Learn your limits and adhere to them.. Then once you are 100% go in there and kill it! I read a quote the other day that said "Beast Mode?? No mother fucker it's just doing what your ass should have been doing each and every time you entered the gym" You'll get back to doing that... Best of luck!
RustyhookerNOTHING keeps a cool cat down! Pukin is old school success tossed about. ;)
thanks for stoppin in bro! and for the +2 with your fancy new adv tag
but i havent felt that alive in a month!
RustyhookerYou'll feel more than alive when you got huge frog legs and veins poppin!
Always good to blow some chunks if you haven't in a while, ha! Glad you're back at it man
lol I definitely felt accomplished throwing up infront of about 20 people...thats how hard youre supposed to work haha
HELL YEAH! That's something to be proud of
How long were you laid up?
injured myself end of july. barely been any lifting since then and had surgery the 15th....absolutely nothing physical until today after the surgery. just good to be back
At a boy, way to right in the head. Ease into and you full speed before you know it.
Glad to see your back in the game brother, seems like a good thing that you get to kill those little dancer legs lol and its alwayss a good leg day if it ends with you throwing up means you're not slacking ;) Just take it easy an heal ull be back at it in no time
yea i need to get my ego in check...its what put me in this position to begin with. but im glad to be back thanks...ill try to take it slow lol
waltrThe ultimate sign of a good leg day ;D
I did legs yesterday and I had such a calf pump after my 4 sets of calf raises(I don't know if that's the right thing to call them considering how I was doing them) on a seated leg press machine I literally had to sit there for 15 minutes waiting for it to go away before I could go do my trap workout.
LOL now thats a calf pump. its how i was taught leg day should be starting with football. "you didnt work hard enough if youre not throwing up" so we would destroy ourselves. cant wait til i can actually squat and hold the bar on my back instead of hack squats tho
valhallas bestlooking at your pre-workout meal all over the ground is a terrible feeling, shit might as well just start the day over.. good luck bro
today it was more of an accomplishment. that i was able to even push myself that hard but i usually would agree with you on that
valhallas besthahha! oh i thought you dropped it!! lol dam u justtook going hard to the next level HAM
