After further consultation with BFG aka BigQueso aka BigChorizo aka Bighomie, a decision has been made on the final placements. The Top5 will stand exactly as the Judges scores have them. Nobody is going to take away MJH36's work though his prizes will not be given until the Mods deem it fit and lift his ban. If they decide that he can return MJH36 will then and only then receive his prizes. So in order to make that happen I will need to rely on MJH36's honor and integrity to not go behind the EBC's back and try and swindle his prizes without us knowing. If it becomes known that he does he will be permanently banned from the EBC and I will submit to Admin that his account is deleted and he is permanently banned from this website forever.
On a side note to Angus, brother it speaks volumes to the caliber of the man you are to make this happen for the top ten. You and I will make this happen in private. I would like the Top5 to stand alone in public acknowledgment. This is not to slight the top ten but rather solidify the honor and prestige of placing Top5 in any EBC. Thank you again for everyone's comments good or bad or in between.

angusI recommend it for anyone! even if you don't place you'll get so much out of it and you will learn so much.
i think we had 4 ladies finish, for us ladies if its okay that it is. could we have a lady of ebc special mention. its hard for us ladies to compete against these big guys. we did and we are proud. maybe show us how us ladies placed against each other. no prizes no nothing just some bragging rights. just an idea, i hope this doesnt upset anyone. im happy with my finish. either way thanks.
i hope we can get that ladies EBC together sometime. i want that.
angusI know that you ladies have a harder time placing but I want you to know that you did a phenomenal job and I am very impressed with all of you. It is very difficult to place against the men and until we can get a female/male section then perhaps honor and confidence may be what comes of it. Believe me I wish it were more.
AnonIn a Bulker EBC I would agree. Unless a woman is willing to truly hit some hard compounds to put some real drastic mass on its going to be hard for a female to go up against a guy running anadrol, Dbol Deca or Tren.
But in a recomp or cutter IMO they have already proven to hold their own. Last EBC a female made a top five. HotPinkGirl hands down had the best performance by any female in an EBC won first place a few EBCs ago. It is very possible. Had this contest been a recomp wagsgurly probably would've been a top five if not top spot. But unfortunately the Bulker goal is a tough one for the ladies. They'd be forced to expose their femininity to virilization to really expect to win outright.
i dont think she is looking for anything other than to know how the ladies faired against each other. she was thrilled with it all either way, IMHO i think shes a woman who just wants and needs some bragging rights LOL

Great show everyone. Congrats to the winners. Angus you did amazing bro. I also am blown away at how good some of the women did, very impressive! And finally a shot out to BJS, I know you didn't place but I am amazed at your transformation, good job bro.

AnonThe goal of this competition was a bulker. We judge on five different categories and total mass gained is one of them. Unfortunately that's where the distance was created between these men and the ladies. The women all actually did better than most of the men. Unfortunately only 5 get to make this list.
I've championed the inclusion of women in the EBC and even suggested in an open forum that if there was enough women who participate we would throw a woman's EBC. Unfortunately I have not been taken up on my challenge to the women of eroids and a comp with 3-5 competitors is a hard sell to the sponsors. There is absolutely no preference given to any gender. I cannot accept this EBC becoming something that is politically correct nor a good ol boys competition. The goal was bulker. Not lean bulker. Not pretty bulker. Not recomp. Not cutter. It's all about mass and inches and presenting your masterpiece effectively.
PS: One of the best built females on this website was one of my judges. I made every effort to give every female who competed a fair chance.
angusCarlos, I think there needs to be some education here on this subject. Nearly every single contestant that I read sad the same thing, that they wanted to be a lean bulker. Well whis wasn't definded as lean bulker so why would you go with it other than perhaps your chasing your own goals and not the goals of the EBC. SO lets look at a lean bulker and what tit means, it means a small calorie surplus over your regular macros and gradually increase size. 12 weeks! hell no. I poured on 6-10000 calories a day, fuck maintenance.
this is where i goofed, i was packing on some srs pounds too but for me i got to a point i was seeing it over 2/3rd fat and prob higher.
partly maybe now since im over 40 i need to watch it more
but i think the main issue for me was i was already bulking since like may/june so i was pushing it. next time ill need to throw a quick cut in there.

AnonBrother this isnt a pick your goal contest. I pick it. The last comp was a pick you poison. This was an old school bulker end of story. Although I do love sour grapes I think no matter how tough the pill is folks need to swallow it
Yes this was by no means a lean bulker BUT, carlos did state that quality would be taken over quantity. I guess its for everyone else to determine what the difference is between quality bulks and quantity bulks.

I already told you I didn't care about placing, that I entered for the hell of it as I'm focused on competing in April meaning I really didn't have time to put on size, it didn't bother me at ALL that I didn't come in top 5, so no he's not talking for me... I'm a big girl I can talk for myself - not trying to be a bitch, just saying. We're not trying to argue with anyone, we were just stating our opinions, which are coming from more of a competitive bodybuilding standpoint, and I understand this isn't what this is. Everyone is going to have their own opinions. When it comes down to it, every competitor put in a lot of work and should be proud of their progress regardless.

Better presentation( seriously that room looks like it smells) next time. If you show up to your women's physique with sloppy presentation they will score you low as well. Outfit, tan, oil, are all part of composition. But so is the stage. It's part of your canvas. BBing shows are done on a stage for a reason. Or else they'd do it outside. It singles out the body and allows no visual distractions from the masterpiece. Think of it like a photographer. They compose each shot to tell a story. To convey emotion and each shot takes thought effort and vision. When you're on stage you must think like that. What message are you delivering. What emotion is that pose meant to convey. What vision do you want the judges to witness. If both of you two would've had a cleaner background your bodies would've been the only thing in the picture our eyes would want to notice. I already told you how great of a job you did. I mean it

Which were just that - OPINIONS, we were not trying to disrespect or discount anyone's work, and they weren't meant to start an argument, which is why there has been no response on any overly aggressive comments. We probably should have just kept our opinions to ourself, so let's all drop the drama and forget about them. As for presentation, we are both fully aware of presentation on stage. However, we are also young, broke and busy college students living in a shithole frat house, sharing a room that is not nearly big enough for both of our stuff. But hey, the rent is cheap and at least we have a home. So whereas bodybuilding shows provide you with the stage and clearly describe presentation as a part of scoring, this contest did not. Unless I am mistaken there was nothing in the rules or description about presentation other than using the same room and lighting. So you can call us lazy or sloppy or whatever, but we're doing the best we can with what we got and the stage will be a whole different story.

Not at all. KB entered for fun but her results gave me hope she would place. Originally it was just me going into this contest. I don't argue especially over the internet but I will say this: there are politics in bodybuilding shows, and it seems from what I can see there are politics here also. I'm speaking for the other competitors who deserved to place better. It looks like a couple of favors were given here. I'm in no way complaining about my placement just about the fairness in general. I guess I'll never know the answer. Even so this is a great site and without it I wouldn't be using AAS right now.

Just so you know I commented 3 times here replying to carlos (couple of other comments towards the beginning of the thread congratulating the winners), making no aggressive comments, other than my opinion up above, if you want to call that aggressive, I told my gf i love her, and I responded to carlos's friend cheddar for calling me a whore in spanish down below. Carlos responded 5 times trying to get me to argue with him publicly (more like begging me to argue with him), insulting my gf by calling her out when there was no need, and publicly admitting to tearing competitors up in private pm and would be happily willing to do it publicly. If I'm going to get banned for stating my opinion, then so be it, most of the other competitors agree with me, so I thank them for the support.

You actually were tied with Angus just so you know. My tie breaker judge who is an OG from my gym was asked to say yay or nay on you and Angus. The first words out of his mouth was about how you didn't take this even serious. He looked at Angus pix and commented immediately saying "This fool had a stage curtain in his house?" He went on and judged you based on merit and achievement. Angus simply gained more.
The scores between all of you guys were so fucking minimal it's crazy how close. A single pound. A single inch. A single pose was the difference between the lot of you. Your mad because I have no integrity and called me out for it. I'll return your criticism with saying this. When your ban lifts you still placed second so you get your prizes. For now I've got a lot of stuff to finish before I put my dead grandmother in the ground. This bullshit pales in comparison to what's really important to me

AnonLet's stRt with your girl. She did place high. But look at her legs. They almost look smaller and if not there wasn't much mass added there. But it's hard to tell because her pics are surrounded by filth. Seriously both of you were hurt because of that room. Her scores on overall mass which is a category were not very good. Her higher scores were from overall quality mass, proportion and overall change. The filthy room and lack of overall mass added is why she wasn't top five.

angusTrue, I just took that as it wasn't porker. I too, went really heavy and then cut back some. I know a lot of people are just afraid to put weight on period. Along with weight comes fat and the trick is getting the fat off afterwards. Fear hold mot people back. that was my only point.

AnonYour ass nearly won. Your issue was you already looked like a heavyweight. These comps are about change. How well or how much change happens is how folks win. In this EBC it was Bulker. How much change occurred in terms of bulking. You and Phil are so fucking big already your gains weren't as drastic to the eye.
With all that being said I can't wait to see you get to single digit bf. Get that Pro card bro. Hopefully the gear you won will help you get there.
