+ 4 Emergency vial transfer
So I had an oops. Almost pulled the entire crimp off a vial. Luckily I am prepared for such an event. I immediately grabbed a 10ml syringe along with a 18 ga pin, filter and a sterile vial. Swabbed the tops and after about three minutes I safely transfered an entire vial so I could save it. Pretty simple as long as you know that the vial is a vacuum. Air in oil out. Air out oil in slowly. I'll post up some pics tomorrow on another vial for demonstration purposes.
The purpose of this post is to make everyone away that this can and will happen and instead of trashing a vial or even worse using it even if it's contaminated next time you order pins grab a 10 pack of 10 ml syringes with filters and some sterile vials. You might just save you from yourself.

trash300I draw up all 10ml in single syringes and store it cool and dry, but max 10 days!

AnonI don't recommend that brother. I learned this the hard way. The plungers in syringes start to noticeably expand and deteriorate within a few days. I think because the solvents in the oil eat them away.
trash300Ouch brother, that sounds not good! I hope u had no healthy problems and saw the problem before i pinned it! Yes maybe either a synthetic oil or the BA.

Did you consider just injecting the whole 10ml not to waste it if things went south? For all the kids reading this, I'm not suggesting that, if your too dumb to get the joke.
