Dead from too much protein?
ad
Here we go...another misleading title that puts some hate on the bodybuilding world. But wait, she didnt die of overdosing protein? No, she had a rare disease which lead to her death. Decided to google this and every other article is titled the same thing. Watch out for that killer protein. I hate the media. May she RIP.
Heres the article:

What a misleading article. A lot of that out there these days.
Ah, that villain - protein... a vegan friend of mine on FB jumped on the bandwagon claiming all sorts of bad things happen when people ingest animal protein...thing is, he assumed she was eating animal protein - how do we know what kind of protein the woman was taking? Could have been pea protein, or kale protein...people just love to attack the 'killer' protein...but rather than jump to assumptions - I prefer facts. https://www.eroids.com/forum/training-nutrition-diet/supplements/whey-pr...
What I took from this: So glad I don't live in Australia. It looks gorgeous there, but wow, placing stricter regulations on protein supplements? Come on. How can anyone even suggest that with a straight face?
Actually, its not misleading at all. This is why I push people to get bloodwork, to get full physical full blood panels, e.t.c. Drugs, food and aas wont kill you, its your own body that will. If she got bloodwork or checkups they could have caught it and she would still be alive.
It's misleading because it suggests that protein supplements specifically caused her death. With her condition, the protein could just as easily have come from salmon, eggs, walnuts, anything containing high amounts of protein.
Yes that's completely true bloodwork is key to staying healthy. But if I were to read the title and was just an average person, I would believe by the title is that eating to much protein killed her not knowing she had a disease. Also in one of the articles I read it was quoted "consuming 55grams protein for males is the limit set my the gov" and anything over that is dangerous. So sometimes those articles need a little more specifics
Its click bait. They give it a dramatic title to suck you in. Then you read the article and then say What a bullshit title!
Exactly! I fell for it like a noob haha
