Calf and Shin pumps when running
ad
This may be way off base and I have some other issue going on but lately when I run my shins and calfs grt extremely tight. Mostly my shins. They don't hurt but they feel like I just gave them a killer workout...I never had this issue before. I've noticed in general my pumps all over have been much more noticeable and last longer.the calfs and shin feeling goes away after cooling off but they still feel pumped. Is this literally a pump or does it sound like something else. ..at first I really though I had shin splints but this just feels like exhaustion and fullness. I can't really desribe it as well as I want but has anyone dealt with this?

Yeah it's about 2 degrees out here, beach and grass not happening. LOL. I gotta move!
I'm just glad nobody asks me to go for a run.. What would I say "nah man my calfs and shins get way to pumped up, I can't" lmao
when i bulk i cut out cardio completly for months and when its time to lean out and run again my shins kill me at first ,its run 5 mins walk 5 mins and i need wait for the pressure feeling to ease before i run again ,what helps me is running on softer ground ,beach ,grass if possible but after about 2 weeks its gone or definately eases
I'm on var @75mg a day.I can't run because of the painful pumps in my shins and calves.
If your taking dbol or anabol that will tighten you up and give you painful pumps for everything you do if your dosage is too high. If this is your first cycle test can also give you mad pumps. If your wearing boots or walking fast this can also give you pumps.
iv noticed this when on cycle just from walking!! literally a few hundred metres and I feel like shins r about to pop out. iv found a regular ice bath helps if u can bare it lol
I'm taking Test E only its my first cycle. I haven't noticed it walking yet except after I stop running and at that point I can barely walk lol... but I'm just getting to the fun part of my cycle (thursday will be week 6) so I guess its only going to ge worse. Might have to stick to other forms of cardio... Glad I don't have to worry if I was hurt. !
CleyonTry cycling (riding a bicycle) if you can. I find that if I'm doing anything that has a harsh impact when on cycle I get the same thing.
Good call! I did that this morning I gave up running after ten minutes and hopped on the bike. I can do the eliptical without trouble also.
CleyonYou may be a hard runner then. It's the issue I have too. One other thing you might try... those funny looking Vibram five-finger shoes... Yeah, I know it sounds funny, but I've been using them for a few months and already my arches are coming back. I can't run anywhere near as far as I used to, but I don't get knee or back pain anymore either.
Hell no lol. I have baby feet those would kill me.I am def a hard runner on my feet..flop down pretty hard
