Looked around as to where to post this so it would get a good read and hopefully save some aggravation on the side of the srcs and anxiousness on the side of mostly new eroid members. General talk seemed to be most relevant.
I am a fairly new eroid member. Though my karma is still low, I am on the site a lot researching and reading. For this article my attention will be on reviews and discussions.
While new to eroids, I am not new to the planet (52 years young). I have owned my own business since leaving the military in 1985. Those here who are fellow entrepreneurs are probably the most patient with sources as we know the many hats they wear. For those who are not, allow me to possibly help you understand and possibly ease your stress a little.
Think about it, for most of the sources this is a full time business which means on a DAILY basis they are responsible for;
1. Reading, solving and answering all emails and pm's
2. Picking up donations
3. Shipping and receiving
4. Dealing with their suppliers
5. Addressing web site issues
6. Attending discussion boards, reviews and Forums.
7. Mixing and bottling formulas. Ensuring quality, purity etc.
8. Changing techniques to stay off the radar.
9. Checking competitors on price/product
10. Dealing with issues of employees or business associates.
AND probably 20 other things I cannot even think of.
REMEMBER AS BUSINESS MEN/WOMEN THEY DO THIS IS ON A DAILY BASIS!!!

How this translates to us/members (especially new)
1. We shouldn't expect them to run and pick up each donation every time a donation is sent! With multiple donations coming in daily and around the clock, this would be a logistical nightmare and soon occupy all their time.
2. Look at the discussion page and notice the shipping time. There is no need to review until the MAXIMUM amount of time has passed from the date the donation was "picked up" not "sent"
3. Read 2. again!!!
4. They know you are new, they know you are nervous. You do not need to send that info ten different ways in ten different emails and pms. Give them at least 24 hours to answer too because these constant nuisances just take time away from the other important details of their business. (Like getting the product out to us!)
5. If the maximum days has passed and gear has not landed, send them a pm. Don't just start ripping them on a review. Eroids and their mods will flush out the scammers. The srce may have had an unforeseen problem but from what i have read and seen, most srces will do more than is necessary to resolve any issues. Again I have been in business for 25 years and every day is not perfect, there are issues, but with understanding and communication they can be resolved most of the time. Some people you can never make happy and yes people will actually come into my restaurants to complain but after investigating i find they were never there and I tear them up too. Fucking restaurant Trollers! I digress, like most of you I was getting my gear from a local (no reviews, no labs, over priced) and then I found eroids. Order with confidence! RELAX, and WAIT. Realize how many things these business people do on a DAILY basis. (read and review 1-10 above). Let them do what they do and thank them by using the the discussion board, posting pics, and AFTER using their gear post a review. Then the best way you can say job well done is order again! Lather, Rinse, Repeat!
Hope this helps to ease some tension and give you a little empathy for what it takes to get you your "fire" gear delivered to your door step!
