Group admin features

ad

Had a few ideas that would help us manage our groups a little better:

I created a Beginner Cycle group. What we're trying to do at the moment is outline things that need to be considered before starting both a cycle or AAS in general. Then, explaining what PCT is and how to properly run it. Then some info on AI's, which is already posted there. We feel that this will provide the foundation for the beginners to start their ventures with AAS. I realize that a lot of this info is already available in the forums, but it is scattered throughout. We want to put it all together under one roof to provide for ease of access.

Once the foundation has been laid, we will begin posting example cycle logs with summarized points on the various aspects. Now, on to my requests...

1) I'd like to be able to restrict the members (not admins) from posting topics in the group. They would be able to post comments anywhere, and i have dedicated a "general discussions" thread for this purpose. But what i don't want to happen is there be an influx of random or off topic threads generated by the members and the group either losing focus or the info contained all get shuffled together. This leads me into my next idea...

2) having the ability to sticky certain threads would be great. i would like for the "group intro" and the "general discussions" to remain visible as soon as the group is accessed.

3) semi-related to #2 would be the ability to sort or arrange the order of the topics/threads into a cohesive order, so that each would flow into one another.

just some ideas, and i'd love to hear some feedback.
