Accidental down/up voting

Sorry if this has already been mentioned. I've come across a problem, a few times actually. When scrolling through with my mobile device once in a while I'll accidentally up or down vote somebody's post and I know I'm not the only one whom has made this mistake more than once.
So my request would be to have a button next to the up and down voting thumbs to 'reset' your vote, sound good? There might be a cleaner place to put it although I haven't put a whole amount of thought into it. Drop down menu, 'cancel most recent vote button'?

When I hit the down by accident I hit hit the up and assume that evens things out.
AnonThat's what I thought at first. But if you down vote by accident then uo vote. You end up +1 them. If you up vote by accident then down vote you end up neg one karma
Yea iv down voted like 3 times and all of the by accident so that is a good idea
Thanks mate. Simplest ideas are usually the best so if you accidentally down vote to correct it you simply click the up vote and it resets it to 0. Obvious now I think about it.
yeah honestly I have that problem as well I remember when I was first a member I logged in and it was like you down voted once (before I knew I didn't have the ability to add/subtract karma) and I seriously lost sleep feeling bad about it...itd be nice if we had a log to like who have up voted and down voted as well
A -1 or +1 isn't just about karma for many of us, it's about someone agreeing or disagreeing so much they click to vote. It's a respect thing. Even though you're not able to take karma please don't think that your vote doesn't count.
Yes I've always thought that too but it would get bitchy! Haha.
I have done this, if you hit the thumbs down it cancels but I admit it can kinda get a little confusing on mobile
If I've hit the down vote accidentaly I'll have to up vote the comment to correct it and give the person a +1. I think there should be a button to cancel the vote all together.
