TRT & 30

ad

New to the site/forum, been reading a lot through this subforum because I've been dealing with low T for a few years now, but the protocol has recently changed.

Long story short:
- 30yo male, married, no kids (yet), lifting for 6 years bro split, recently picked up powerlifting.
- Diagnosed low T at 285ng @ 27, placed on clomid 25mg/ED, helped some, but only brought me up to ~450, but felt I should be more energetic and "grabbing life by the balls" if that makes any sense
- Fast forward to this January, wife and I are at least a year out from trying for kids, figure why not give TRT a shot (pun intended), after some back and forth and tinkering the doc and I settle on 120mg/EW test cyp, feel great, test up to 787, life couldn't be better

Now here's where I'm hoping some of you can be of service:
- As I'm replacing test, if I were to run sarms or a pH (I've only run osta once, good results), would I need a PCT?
- Would anything I do while on TRT running test affect me once I get off the test? Meaning, other than the overall feeling of having lower test, would going back to clomid give me different results that previously?
- My doc suggested starting back on clomid whenever I decide to taper off the test, would anything else help re-jumpstart me?

Thanks in advance for any and all input.

Thanks Big & Outlaw for the input. @Big, I'll definitely check out the Trip and Power PCT. Would clomid while on TRT be a waste/counterproductive?

The standard protocol is 250-500IU a wk of HCG to preserve testicular function. Clomid is usually an alternative therapy or PCT. The doc can prescribe additional fertility drugs like HMG or rhFSH to increase your sperm production. If your doc is prescribing you trt, tell him you are concerned about fertility and he can adjust your treatment plan. Plenty of guys on trt are able to have kids.

Trt is for life my friend and it doesn't help with kids at all trust me I'm there been on trt for years trying to have a kid and it has costed 2000$ for my meds and still gonna have to spend 25000$ for invetro just trying
To put the kid thing
In perspective If your trt and your body can't make test pct is just gonna piss you off also if your body made a jump on 25 mg of clomid which is a low dose imo then it did respond to pct it's just not agressive enough do a full pct then cruise on 50 mg of
Clomid per day while adding some hcg and see where your test levels land would be way better for having kids

You are taking a risk here buddy. The longer you stay on, the more damage to hpta and less chances for recovery. Not saying it's not possible, but it might be damn difficult to conceive a child after a year long trt. Year is not that long, so I would wait with trt until you're done with the baby business.
To answer your wuestion about pct - no, if you are on trt you don't do pct, you just go bsck your cruise dose of trt.
Talk to your doc, maybe increasing your clomid dose would make more sense. I would suggest looking into triptorelin and power pcts but, if your natty levels are low, I'n not sure if it's going to work.
If you are looking for a little boost into your workouts, you can look at peptides or hgh, which should improve the quality of your life, might have some positive effects on your test levels and will help with your physique without messing up with your hpta. Hope it helps a bit. Good luck bro
