He said he served just didn’t get hit with an ied it’s stolen valor but it’s not at the same time I mean he did serve which is more than I did so I appreciate that does he get a pass for telling a fake war story I mean I’m cool with it cause he did serve but I doubt our vets are cool with it but I get it dude was embarrassed about his appearance that was caused by some stupid shit he did when he was young and dumb and people are mean social media is ruthless so he makes up a story that would get people to not bully him on social media would we be as mad if he said he was fucked himself up saving babies from a burning building would people still bully him who knows I just don’t feel it’s our place to judge him yes lying is fucked up lying about being hurt at war even more fucked up going on social media knowing people are gonna comment on your appearance and not having thick enough skin to deal with it makes you either stupid and or a bitch for letting the words of people you don’t even know effect you but i still don’t feel it’s our place

Malibu was bullied about his face so damn much that he decided to come up with a lie so people would stop bullying him. While that was wrong, I do not blame him. I would have done the same. He came out, owned up to his shit and apologized. So he's good in my book. Bullying is a motherfucker man, it makes people do shit they wouldn't normally do.
In a world full of negativity and evil, some positivity is welcomed FOSHO. That's just my take, I realize a lot of the people on here don't share the same sentiment. I have moved on from his transgressions

Im a Marine....1st BN 4th Mar. 3 deployments and of course Iraq. Lying happens. Guys will embelish....thats normal. Sometimes stories change...instead of 2 guys....now there were 15. Stuff like that is forgivable. Not what Malibu did. He fell drinking. Not on duty....not on a deployment. Then makes up a story he was hit with an IED. Well, I didnt believe him then. Seen first hand IEDs go off, the damage they do. His lie is so bad it tells on itself. The concussion amd impact alone would have turned his brain to jelly. He would have secondary injuries and scars. So he lied....not to embelish....but a whole fabrication.....to seek attention. Thats pathetic. Same as never serving amd sayimg you did. If he was an officer, even if out, he still could be punished for this. UCMJ still applies. Hes enlisted, so hes fine there. But he lied to gain attention....and only fessed up when caught. He did damage control, never apologized. Real apologies come with ACTIONS. Hes done nothing. So I dont forgive him, and I think most Vets wouldnt either. Hes a fucking worm for lying over 10 years. Hes Army tho.....thank god marines dont need to claim this shithead. His excuse: People were mean to me????? Ok coward the duck.

If he’s claiming any form of disability then they need to do a full review and take away every penny and make him pay everything and anything back to the VA.

Im a combat vet. I actually did survive an IED outside of Baghdad in 2008, scars and records to prove it. Fuck this piece of shit and his busted ass face. And to be honest, fuck all the retards giving him a pass because "hes so positive" in his videos
What's it actually like when you get hit by a blast like that so close? Do you remember much of it or does it go into a blur?
I was gunner on a humvee and the device went off under the front axle. All I remember is getting "punched" in the back of the head then waking up (in a half kneeled position, with the gunner strap holding me upright by the armpit) with my squad leader shaking me asking if Im alright. Immediately training kicks in and I get up to check the weapon system status. Didnt realize the extent of the shrapnel in my lower legs until we had got the vehicle towed back to Liberty. Extremely sore for a week after, kinda like a car wreck, but the actual event I was knocked out. We were lucky, it was a relatively small device.

I watched a YouTube video about this guy about a month ago. It explained how people were mocking him in the comments about his face, and he claimed it was from an IED. I felt bad for him. Seeing this now just proves that almost all of what we see on social media is bullshit.

I had a neighbor that got shot in the knee by accident by another American soldier by accident while they were walking. Lost his leg years later. He rode around in a wheelchair with skid loader tracks with an American flag draped behind it. You would think he stepped on a landmine in iwo jima killing the jappos, but really his buddy shot him and he elected to have his leg removed at the knee. And threw himself fundraisers constantly.
Just because they were in the service doesn't make them heros. That is literally as bad as stolen valor. Maybe even worse.
