Mine is a pawn shop find- Standard HPX 1911. American made milled quality parts, 4.5lb trigger, match grade stainless barrel, and came with 3 mags in original box with un-activated warranty. Guy didn’t shoot it too much at all cleaned and internals are good as new- sadly it does have some minor scratches but that’s just character… besides these started retail for $1,200-$1,400 and was $900 at the pawn shop. After bargaining I walked out with everything shown for $595 cash- gotta love Texas!

In all seriousness though gun jamming of pistols has claimed the life of some folks. I always feared that.
Yeah, that’s why you want a very reliable firearm that cycles every shot. Take the time to maintain it properly, even if it hasn’t been shot. It’s not TV or a police video, more than likely what’s in that magazine is going to be what you’re working with. May even forget you have a spare on you, but that’s an entirely different lesson lol

This is my latest build. I’m working on a 300 blackout now with another eotech. And a 7 inch barrel suppressed. This is just a 5.56 with an eotech optic
300Blk built from stripped lower. Bought from Palmetto State Armory. Also have a 5.56 nato. .380 S&W M&P bodyguard, .40 S&W, savage arms .22 lr rifle, a savage arms 12g, and a phenix arms .22 lr pistol. Next I'm thinking a S&W M&P shield in .45 or 9mm.

Yeah, Sightmark Wraith 4K mini. The front lamp is IR, I switched it out to an aftermarket one and now I’m good to 300 meters. They’ve gotten crazy cheap too, under $500

PSA cannot be beat as far as bang for the buck
I have a psa lower on that one pic. I have two spikes tactical I haven’t used yet. I like those because the trigger guard is milled right on instead of having to use a roll pin and risk breaking the ears

Ruger is great. Very underrated guns. I think they are very top tier guns. IDC what anybody says. Price tag doesn’t make a gun good. Ruger may be cheap but great guns
I like their warranty, there is none lol. Rather than bend and try to meet every state law and regulation, they opted to not put out a typed warranty. They just say if it’s broken send it in. If it’s something you did, expect a charge, if it’s something they did, they eat it. I’ve had several over the years, been happy.

Yeah, the wife got 2 cats, they’re a pain in the ass lol. $999 for the 1911. All stainless, a very smooth shooter. As far as accuracy and speed, shooting flat, the LFA Apollo 11 is crazy!

What sight is that on the top?
Double stack 9mm, the optic is a 407k green dot. It’s my only pistol with a dot, I like optics on rifles, not so much on pistols. Green dot because my eyesight sucks and it’s easier on the astigmatism lol
We have that in common- just replaced the red dot on the cpx. I prefer irons on the majority of my handguns though.
