Over $23 for a Lb. of chicken and it’s the dryest, stringiest, most tasteless BS I’ve had in a long long time. Dickie’s used to be halfway decent and way cheaper! I was shocked, but then again I rarely have to resort to fast food to hit my macros- busy day and I’m taking the hit for it lol. Still not half as bad as some of the gruel I’ve seen dudes force down…
Now we all have had days were stuff happens unplanned- if you needed a meal on the road what’s your go-to cheat/fast food place?

That’s why I only eat bbq/ smoked meat at my pad made by me. Just about every bbq restaurant blows and is pricy.
AK80Same overpriced and overbreaded garbage like at Wing Stop. You can do it yourself in the air fryer next time and make up your own rub & sauces. I never had an issue with Qdoba. Don't have to pay $3.00 extra for guacamole like you do at Chipotle either. 5 Guys or Panda Express are good options. McDonald's whenever they aren't serving E. Coli.
I remember Dickies used to offer a huge baked potato stuffed with brisket, bacon and tons of melted cheese. Those things were great and not too expensive for how much food you got. The one around here closed years ago and i haven't had one since.

Yep. Thats what I normally do when desperate! Easy 3-4lbs of decent meat that can be shredded/prepped in tons of ways.

Shoot we can apply that to just about everywhere in life with the current administration. The prices of day to day items have gone to ridiculous prices. I know too many guys personally that are one emergency away from missing payments and being in serious trouble! It’s not sustainable and the working man shouldn’t have to worry the way a lot of guys do.

Not sure exactly when it was filmed and I don’t believe they mention any of bams drinking problems but it was a pretty good watch. (I’ve only watched about half of it so far)

Chic Fil-A is the only place I go to fast food wise. I can’t do the others, I quit those years back. I couldn’t stop eating the other day and did a double cheeseburger at Checkers. Smaller than I remembered for sure but it was the best option in the moment.
I am 1000% guilty of hitting up those grilled nugs on the occasion! That is one of the rare times I will eat a sauce with high calories… damn CFA Polynesian is my weak spot.
Agreed anything that is super processed is going to leave me feeling shitty mentally and physically most of the time.
