Opinions on Low Dose Nandrolone Decanoate For Joint Pain?

I have heard many different opinions on this, but have not seen anything very recently. I would appreciate some anecdotal evidence from fellow users as I don’t 100% trust online trt “clinics” that will honestly shell out whatever is asked for the right price.

I have read quite a bit and am specifically interested in hearing experiences from guys who have tried low dose Deca and/or NPP with the goal of helping pain with a notable benefit to joints.

What doses have you tried and what was the outcome of those doses?

I have heard running Test:Deca 2:1 or even as low as 30-60mg/wk can have noticeable effects. Assume proper protocol is prepared and will be taking AI, vitamin B, and have caber on hand if I decide to try it out.

You’re going to be walking a very fine line for joint relief vs anabolism, if it’s something you’re going to do long term I’d stick with deca, 100mg weekly would be a good baseline, you may wind up needing less. Just watch that dosage for long term, joint relief vs cardiac issues isn’t a great trade off imo.

I've never went below 100mg/wk. But my shoulders feel much better than when i'm not using it. Any sort of incline or OH press tends to cause internal pain in my shoulders typically. That all goes away after 4ish weeks of the deca.

When I take deca at 150 and above I def get better joints. Knee stops crunching and shoulders stop being perpetually sore. Once I come off I feel like an old decrepit again.

Lowest I've gone was 200mg week deca. And that was for the reason your saying. I was good. It's been 4 weeks now since I've done any deca and my shoulders just starting to bother me. I have been going up to 315 on the bench every week. But I'm hitting it 10 times not like I'm struggling. But i guess still a toll on the joints.
I just did some deca i just got today. Along with tren e and test e.
I did 200mg deca in today's shot though with 200tren e and 300 test e.
I've never had to use caber so far. But everyone's diff.
I do have 3 packs of it just incase though.
But enough about me lol..
I think 200mg a week 100% long as it ain't under dosed. Will help.
Idk about 60mg or 30mg. To me that sounds like to little. I guess it depends on how much you weigh too. Like I'm 240lb. I couldn't imagine that much deca doing anything for me. But maybe if your 130lb.

Just keep that in mind. You know bro. Whenever they do these"studies" they usually do a certain mg. Per kilogram of bodyweight. So that is major. And the heavier you are the faster you metabolize shit. Just like if you drank a shot of vodka but someone who's 5'6" 140 took the same shot. He'd blow more than you on a blood alcohol test.

I needed a cut for some PIP gear and i dont mind the joint relief so i was only adding .5ml of deca and it accomplished both at once lubing my shoulders and mitigating the PIP

100mg a week should be more than enough. Youre going to need to run bloods of course to see those things unseen without testing.

Problem. Deca/npp masks the pain(should be a bonus right) . But in masking the pain you get into pushing heavy/hard and not thinking of the REAL issue underlying the pain. Simple arthritus or a torn connective tissue/muscle? Somehing repairable by surger, hgh, tb500, therapy but getting worse?

The masking of pain is an excellent point, I run deca often, have for a few years now; for the joint aspect. When I had been chasing 350bench the pain would come through ; the relief is their, but when pushing hard joint pain does come back, dosent seem to stay like it does with out the deca , but I did/do get very fearful when the joint pain started to “show thro”. Definitely can still cause serious damage and the masking will let you.

Oh 1000%! I am not even sure if I’m going to end up trying this out but it will be a super low dose if so probably under that mark- have you ever tried yourself?

That is a HUGE issue which I do not plan on doing. I am not looking to mask my pains so I can lift crazy heavy and hurt myself more, but I am curious if it’d help me continue to do the things I’ve done for years with less pain.

I played college football and had various injuries but the worst was the shattered kneecap resulting in a mostly metal right knee. My lower back, inner elbows, shoulders, and knees are the worst off from it. I have had about all the surgery I need except for a final spinal surgery that worries me. Have done lots of PT, but recently am noticing pain even hiking trails and such. I am super curious about experimenting with BPC157/TB500 for everything mentioned aswell!

I commented above before reading all comments. I have 3 compression fractures in spine, one from lifting , 2 that came after from MX accidents. I had a bad wreak in April 2023 and toyed with bpc157. I can’t say it didn’t help, but bpc157 is nothing like what deca is. When I started down the road of trt & clinics and drugs I knew nothing. It can be Intimidating. There is a lot of clinics like you said, that are a money grab. Do your research and don’t be afraid to ask like you have done here already. You will find a few sources offer a blend of deca & test compounded together. Seems like you have read the 2:1 with deca. There are lots of options available, I don’t run it 2:1 but have heard loads of guys do that for considerable lengths at a time. For instance I cant imagine 200mg test and 100mg deca would be huge number for anyone. 200mg test put me in the low 800’s. So still not out of natural range there. Best bet is to try it my man.

Seriously though, when I started looking into clinics I was already doing supplemental research for my own knowledge just because I think that’s what any person should do. It didn’t take long to realize I was far better off reading and learning my butt off about everything rather than trusting some of these “professionals”. Also, financially it is ri-goddamn-diculous when you compare the cost of clinic vs self taught, plus knowledge gained.
