So I’d like to take the time to retract some of my statements I made regarding the war and my rebuttal towards you regarding the Hamas beheadings. He told me some horrific shit that he still suffers from ptsd from. Afghanistan was literal hell. I have a biased towards Zionism from its unjust conception. Modern religion has become political and institutionalized for Imams, the church or synagogue. I try to embody God through inner dialogue within myself and observing natures formative causation. So perhaps my claim is inaccurate but modern religion doesn’t resonate with me.

It’s actually a shame, Palestinians were a homogenous ethic group and so many other ethnicities that we call “Arab”. Arabia was a wasteland that colonized so many beautiful regions of Iran, Iraq and Lebanon. Beyond 800 years ago, most of those regions practiced Zoroastrianism which is closely related to Christianity. If you go back even further, it’s was Terah, Abrahams father who created the system of Usury during the Ubadian period and all of the Old Testament stories are re-enactments of Sumerian/Babylonian myths intertwined with moon Gods and flood myths. That’s how the story was written but what if Abraham was a fraud who wanted to usurp the regional tribes to create his own system of wealth and greed by integrating the same stories to generate his new voyage on converting all those around him. Older civilizations are far older and more advanced, it just seems like the entire world forgot history before Abraham. New evidence is being uncovered that we’re far older than what anthropologists have originally claimed. The Old Testament to me is a barrier to our true potential of human knowledge and technology. You're conflating religion with religious text/mythos. Whatever subjective truth you (or religion) want to overlay on the story of Abraham or the book of Genisis, or similar myth creation stories that predate that. is irrelevant to the message AND the historical record.
The imagery of the language in these stories is describing something profound that is not manifest in the material word. Even Plato and his forms elude most. Quantum physics is just now coming on the scene.

Thing is we say myth but what if the Flood actually did happen. Not sure why we tend to dismiss such things especially if there has been something studied in a particular area that is supposedly in the bible. Scientists collected nearly 30 rock and soil samples from an area in Eastern mountains of Turkey known as Mt. Ararat, which is mentioned in bible. This area on the mountain has a boat like shape or structure to it. The dating study revealed the samples to between 3500 and 5000 years old, or from 3000 BC, the most recent time when the flood has been said to have occurred. Analysis of findings where at the Istanbul Technical University. Now this is purely from a scientific point of view, not religious. Things such as this cannot be explained completely as myth especially when the Turkish government is so secretive about that particular area which was noticed in 1951. We can only explain so much until facts seep into the equation. But such study doesn't confirm the Ark's existence, but it does possibly give the story some credibility. I rely on facts, not man.
