+ 4 Should those fighting for our country be free to enhance their performance?

DeeMan's picture

I see what your saying. Yeah it was similar. But I just think those planes did it. Didn't need a bomb because those planes were bombs basically

DeeMan's picture

Man I can only tell you what I saw on live TV without any edit. Nah it was an implosion not explosion. They can't discern or tell the difference lol. I'm not buying it at all. That was a straight attack from the sky. From what I understand now those supporting beams couldn't hold up due to trauma and heat. I mean that type of issue can happen, not like it's impossible.

Pumped_'s picture

Yeah its proved the heat from the jet fuel melted the beams and the explosions they supposedly see is the floors blowing out. Not charges.

In a promo × 1
DeeMan's picture

I doubt the beams were melted like Jake said. Temp would have to be higher. I could see them weakening.

Greg's picture

Beams don't have to "melt" just expand, get soft, pop rivets, twist; simply just fall of center so it's no longer load bearing. Not considering the initial kinetic damage having a plane run through the frame. It's amazing that it survived the impact as long as it did.

DeeMan's picture

The temperature would of allowed beams to expand etc so that's not unbelievable. Hard to imagine both buildings suffer catastrophic damage yet stand and never fall. Cant see that.

JakeKO's picture

Jet fuel would have dissipated too quickly, but the oil in the plane would continue burning. It’s like diesel vs gasoline. That’s the same reason oil is added to a Molotov cocktail . Regardless, it’s practically impossible for that to bring the buildings straight down so quickly. There would have been pauses in the collapse

Greg's picture

There would have been pauses in the collapse.

Nothing is bearing the load of the collapsed floor and everything above it. Then the weight and inertia of every subsequent floor after that... The building is not much more than a well-balanced exoskeleton.

DeeMan's picture

Yea Inertia can't be ignored. No stopping the combined weight of top load.

DeeMan's picture

I follow what you're saying. My focus is the heat. You're saying every frame on floors unaffected by heat would have to be exposed to the same extreme heat as those floors affected by the plane. If that were the case I could see a collapse with no pause for whole building. I know heat and smoke was on bottom floors but still. Maybe there were terrorists working inside, we'll never know. I don't remember any investigating organization mentioning that. Yea I've heard alot of different opinions. I would have to side with credible building engineers.

Pumped_'s picture

Then i digress on the jet fuel. Think i heard it on CNN and repeated it lol

In a promo × 1
JakeKO's picture

Ok, I don’t want to get too into this, but did you every throw gas on a fire? It may be in liquid form, but it immediately burns out. Jet fuel burns even faster than that. There is no way the fire from the fuel could melt the steel. Now the fire of everything burning probably got very hot, hot enough to compromise the steel, although only on the floors immediately effected. The way the towers fell was straight down down, all at once, like a full collapse. I would think that there would be pauses in the collapse as the higher floors hit floors that hadn’t been compromised by the heat of the fire, and would have caused parts of the building to fall off the sides. But that’s not what happened, both buildings completely collapsed without pause. I personally watched the second plane fly in and hit, and I watched both towers collapse. Etched in my memory for life. Do I think there was more to it, absolutely. Inside job? Who really knows. I think there was a lot more involved in the attack. New Yorkers tend to mind their own business unless they are being paid not to. Therefore, from what I saw, my bet is that there were definitely implosion charges installed in both buildings, probably by the terrorists themselves. All you needed to access most areas in those buildings would be your employee id. Once you had a job in the building, no one gave you another thought back then. Too many different companies for any one entity to keep track of. Security was responsible for making sure you had a proper reason to be in the buildings. But what if member of the terror cell worked for the security company??? Just my opinion

DeeMan's picture

I imagine that jet fuel burned at around 1000 degrees Fahrenheit or a little more, takes over 2500 degrees Fahrenheit to melt Steele. Weakens at about 1600 degrees Fahrenheit. Don't remember if someone claimed that beams were melted or damaged. I don't remember all the results of the full investigation.

JakeKO's picture

Yeah, I remember them saying it was the jet fuel, but it was debunked. There is a documentary out there named “Loose Change”. Some pretty interesting incriminating proof available.

DeeMan's picture

@Pumped @JakeKO If I remember right an independent organization from Europe did an investigation on the collapse. You would think they would be unbiased but who knows.

DeeMan's picture

I figured that. I think in general when anything major happens that's shocking like 9/11 or a death someone is always wanting to automatically make up some sort of conspiracy without even knowing facts. I've heard all kinds of foolishnes by Republicans and Democrats. And the sad part about the crap is they actually believe it...Silly and all.
EDIT...let me stop. Want to keep on topic.

Pumped_'s picture

Ok back to subject. If the government did order a TRT program for all service members then what compound (used moderately and supervised) and any lab preference?

In a promo × 1
DeeMan's picture

Voluntary program hopefully. Testosterone at healthy teen levels. What do you think would be the best compound?

Pumped_'s picture

Id say testosterone. Each individual different dose through bloodwork so each has 1200 ng/dl minimum

In a promo × 1
DeeMan's picture

I would have to agree. You definitely want the range optimum without going off the edge. I'd say 1000ng/dL

Pumped_'s picture

Sort of like universal soldiers but cheaper

In a promo × 1
DeeMan's picture

Lmao....you'll be the main guy running the operation. General Pumped. 5 star juicehead general

Hey side note..I'm still waiting on that 9/11 no planes theory.

Pumped_'s picture

Yeah that was wierd, throw that in then Ghost us. Leave us hanging what it meant. I really want to hear it

In a promo × 1
DeeMan's picture

Me too. He just posted something up top though.

Greg's picture

So Japan didn't attack pearl harbor guns ablazin' and dropping bombs?
The confederate states never attacked the north?
Spain never attacked Florida in the war of 1812?
Mexico never attacked Nogales, Arizona in 1918?
Britton didn't attack US forces at bunker hill?

September 11 was an inside job with bombs in the building. No plane. Zero.

Now I know you're unwell. I suppose the other plains that attacked the pentagon were bombs as well as the plain that was brought down in Pennsylvania when the passenger's tried to take back the plain.

Pumped_'s picture

Agreed, we definitely have a present threat here on our own soil. Not to count the number of terrorists documented and the getaways coming in our southern border. They are not coming for a better life, they hate America and planning another attack. And im not talking about the mexicans and venezuelans i mean the mid eastern cells and the chinese nationals

In a promo × 1
DeeMan's picture

Well to be clear so there's no confusion, disregarding the mid eastern cells and Chinese nationalist, alot of Chinese and middle easterners are good law abiding folks that want a better life for themselves. If coming over legally I have no issues.

Pumped_'s picture

I hear you. But im talking about the ones that have been grabbed coming illegally and are on no fly lists etc. Those are the ones to worry about. If im sneaking in the back door of a club theres gonna be questioning why i didnt just come in the front door and get carded. Around the world knows get into mexico and pay a coyote and sneak in. Its a military move on their part. "Invasion"

In a promo × 1
Pumped_'s picture

Someone "transitioning" in the army as of 2021 you are allowed to take testosterone doctor supervised. So maybe a new modern advanced army should all be put on test lol

Pumped_'s picture

There are some great arguments below. I started this thread shallow minded but now convinced that AAS uncontrolled in the service can be dangerous. Yes for the average person like us we can find argument why we can use justified but a whole new ballgame in the military service. It is a double edged sword to an active service member if it isnt prescribed by the service doctor. I do hope this isnt going to be just a punitive crackdown but offer help to those on. If its someone that needs hormone therapy than treat it, etc.

In a promo × 1
DeeMan's picture

Well with this topic there's absolutely no room for shallow mindedness. This is serious stuff that's why overall if AAS are being used in the military then I agree a military doctor needs to be involved in my opinion. At the end of the day the average person isn't the average military serviceman. But nice to read different opinions

Greg's picture

Our military is becoming mechanical. If they're cracking down now after all these years something is in "Skunk works" that hasn't been reveled yet. Drones, smart bombs, defense shields, smart bullets, robotics... We don't need the massive force we used to. But the force we do have will be one of the best and most ready in the world. Armed with the best tech in the world.

SimonM84's picture

They won’t allow them to take performance enhancement substances but meanwhile they’ll teach them about proper pronouns.

In a promo × 1
Pumped_'s picture

They did confirm the army will be next. Yet the Airforce and Marines havent agreed to it yet. But i see it being the entire military. I know there are health risks for those abusing it but just think of all the honorable discharges. Its not seen in the same sense as narcotics so there wont be a "disease" tolerance like with addiction and be forced to offer all help before discharge.

In a promo × 1
press1's picture

I would imagine their issue is about the health risks of probably over half of them being on gear and the dangers of having Heart attacks or strokes whilst on duty. Sure they will be stronger but is that really going to improve their ability when swimming in or under water and running across land, aiming and shooting weapons etc? I think this will just be the start now, soon they will be testing cops too, I am surprised they don't already especially those built like brick shithouses lol

Notmelgibson's picture

I would think that for military performance they would be taking things like EPO, basic test, some kind of nandrolone. No? Fairly mild compounds, no not completely risk free but pretty mild, with clear endurance benefits. I wouldn’t imagine soldiers being taking trenbolone. But Really the US should let people have body sovereignty and do what they will. Especially our military. If some places are letting adolescents choose their gender then why are we not letting our warriors do everything they can to be the best they can be.

Greg's picture

But Really the US should let people have body sovereignty and do what they will. Especially our military.

Say's the lib who's never served. That's the worst fucking Idea I've ever heard. Infact, the military has bent too far to accommodate the individual.

We don't have a draft. If you decide to change your pronoun while enlisted, you should be discharged. If you want to do anything that puts your life and the lives of others at risk, you should be discharged.

The military is not social services. It is a fighting force. When you enlist you are government property. When you thank a vet for his service, that is the sacrifice and service you're thanking him for.

Notmelgibson's picture

You completely misunderstood my comment. Maybe try rubbing those brain cells together a little more in order to get a spark before you get in a political panty wedge. I’m far from a lib. And I don’t give two fucks about someone’s pronouns. I’ve been involved in the military in some capacity my entire life. Not two months ago I was at my brothers army burial service. If someone wants to use PEDs there should be no push back. Especially in the military. That was the point of my comment. The fact that they’ve let social policies degrade to the point where PED use is an issue and having pansy ass dudes with pronouns is acceptable was the point of my comment.

Greg's picture

Nothing to misunderstand with "people [should] have body sovereignty and do what they will. Especially our military."
That statement implies ANYONE should be able to do what they want with their bodies. As a libertarian, I would tend to agree, because I'm not depending on you to have my back. You lost me at, "Especially our military." Which is a misguided comment. Particularly if you've been involved in the military in some capacity. You've doubled down on that sentiment; it is not well thought out.

It's a liberal comment failing to understand the military is not a democracy. It is regimented and disciplined and rightly so. Furthermore, I stated the military shouldn't give two fucks about someone's pronouns. I don't give a shit how you feel about pronouns.

Yours is a completely uneducated and not very thought-out comment. There is more to PEDs than big muscles. There's a host of physical and emotional complications that are too varied and unknown to be able to trust the cohesion of a squad. Furthermore, there is no "sovereignty" in the military which you failed to grasp in my statement above.

Notmelgibson's picture

Well I won’t continue to argue with you. Everyone who has served has my basic respect. Even those who just did the bare minimum and bounced. Even those who didn’t embody a warrior mindset. But I don’t agree with your oversimplifying of what the service is. On a macro level yes of course it’s a cohesive stratified entity based on discipline and solidarity. But on the micro it’s riddled with things far more impactful in a negative manner than PEDs. For example aggressive drinking and extreme pessimism. I just think that attention is being placed on the least effective areas when talking about PED use in the service. I don’t think your line of reasoning is very nuanced or steeped in reality. It’s pretty baseline and surface level. Skimming the facade of military service. So since you obviously served you have my respect. But I disagree with your opinion.

Greg's picture

Speaking as one who has served to one who has not. People are people, even in the military. They're going to do nearsighted, self-serving shit, particularly when they're young. I did stupid shit in the military. Was it right? Absolutely not. Do I think the military should turn a blind eye to addiction, alcoholism, and AAS use even if I was a practitioner of such things? Hell no.

For example aggressive drinking and extreme pessimism

Those issues have always been addressed. PED use has long been ignored, because, as I intimated in my first post, (not directed to you) it wasn't that big of a concern when faced with other issues as you mentioned, and retention.

But now, our military is becoming mechanical. We can focus more attention on having an extremely effective force that is smaller. Understandably, to accomplish that, they're cracking down.

DeeMan's picture

My condolences to your family and I thank him for his service to our country. Like you I have been involved with the military in some capacity. No need to go into anymore detail but one thing that stuck to me is respect of yourself and other individuals that are deserving of respect. Deserving is the key. I say that because in today's climate our military seems to be disrespected in a few instances. Case in point...just take a look at the VA Hospital. I mean for years it's been straight trash. There's no way in hell that was suppose to ever happen. Military men and women putting their lives on the line only to come home, if they are so fortunate, to a shitty ass medical and hospital system! You gotta be kidding me! But anyways back to the point, I can understand the mental benefit and mental detriment that some hormones could instill so I'm sort of on the fence. In the past I've worked out with guys that were law enforcement and both guys were juiced pretty good and they explained to me how they benefited from gear as an officer but at other times on their job they acted way too damn aggressive so it's a double edged sword. Hope those guys are doing well lol.

press1's picture

I think it will be a case of the Soldier will take whatever they please in order to get the results in the gym they are after, no it probably won't include trenbolone but I also don't think they will be thinking I'll just do some low level test and Deca because it will help my work performance as such. It will likely still be the kinds of cycles many of us all run. There is a degree of responsibility too - is it really in the best interests of the Seals for example to have a load of guys running around juiced up that have to make life or death calls in a millisecond, I'm sure a certain amount of their mental state will have a part to play in those vital decisions.

Notmelgibson's picture

That’s a good point. I just know that there’s been people in the military using PEDs and performing well on every level for a long time. This has been going on for awhile. I have a good buddy who is still in corp who’s using PEDs along with a couple of his buddies. They love it. The extra aggression. Not one of them is going into a state of irresponsible psychosis from their test and anavar though. Just like most of us still going through life being perfectly responsible adults. So will the PEDs increase risk of the soldier being irresponsible? Maybe as much as it does one of us I don’t know. And for most, not all, that risk isn’t very high

Greg's picture

Servicemen do a lot of things they shouldn't do AAS and drugs. It doesn't mean it's not a problem. like a drunk driver not being a problem until it is, when it is, someone usually loses a life.

What if a serviceman is in the middle of a cycle, gets shipped out, cut off, no PCT?
Elevated blood pressure, and doesn't have the stamina needed to do his job?
Has an emotional short fuse, a loaded weapon, in a high stress situation?

Your "Buds" are active-duty servicemen, they are not just like us. THEY ARE IN SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY.
They are not being "perfectly responsible adults" They swore an oath. They are breaking that oath. They are living under normal conditions; God help them if that changed suddenly. They are the drunk driver who's been lucky so far.

Am I being melodramatic? Perhaps, but to illustrate a point. Servicemen are not like us; they have a greater responsibility than us.

Notmelgibson's picture

All great points. However is the real world direct impact of PEDs in the forces really worth the allocation of time, attention, and resources that could be put on other things that would leverage greater positive outcomes

Greg's picture

If it saves a life, makes a smaller more efficient force, then yes. The military can, and does, walk and chew gum at the same time. They are not redirecting resources; they are shoring up liabilities.

Pumped_'s picture

You do have a point. But something as demanding as the navy seals should they be testing their health anyway and analyzing their ability to perform rather than what their hormone levels are? You do bring a good argument but i think it will become more punitive.

Bud the world is a changing place, everyone is being punished for even the tiniest of things. Only yesterday a famous boxer over here was in Court because at a charity dinner function he tapped the waitress on the arm to get some more service because the waitressing was so poor at the table. She claimed he did it in a 'flirtatious manner' so was able to take him to court over that. Luckily the Jury saw sense and found him not guilty.

Pumped_'s picture

We want to stay in the tops. It will be like the vaccine when we fired all those state police and medical personnel. We really going to discharge members for testing positive for something simple?
