Even though I voted deadlift, I deep down wanted to say bench. If you train and perform the bench like a powerlifter, you utilize almost every muscle in your body. Powerlifting is basically the opposite of bodybuilding where you are trying to NOT isolate the muscle and use as many muscles as you can (properly) to lift the most weight possible. You flex and tighten up your entire back/lats. You use maximum leg drive with your quads, glutes, and hammies. Obviously you use your chest, shoulders and triceps. I have pretty damn good trap and back development, even though I don't work it as often as I should. I also NEVER squat or work my quads (due to osgood-schlatter disease in my knees as well as patellar tendonitis) other than a couple months here and there in my 17 years of lifting. That said, I recently decided to randomly max out on squat with a safety squat bar which is much harder than low bar or high bar squatting, and still managed to hit 525 lbs. Pretty much all my leg strength and size came from leg driving on bench. When done the powerlifting way, the bench press can really work almost all your muscles.
I have a SSB bar at home and the thing is a real bitch!! Those final reps where you are simply just trying to get back up and then its trying to throw you off balance forwards is killer. Over 500lb's on one of those bars is damn impressive. This is why I never bother to try and deadlift the day after bench because my hams, glutes and lower back are too tight - I simply cannot lift anything heavy off the ground worth having a training session for. For years I could never understand why it was happening lol
Deadlifts and incline smith machine. PUMP AND HUMP
Bench press till failure, then do the roll off technique and deadlift the weight from the floor and powerclean it back on the rack. Dat dere is a full body workout.
LOL Bud have you ever had to roll a failed bench off yourself? It bloody kills!! Last one I did before I got a power rack felt like it ripped my stomach skin off. Then I had internal pain so spent the next 48 hours worrying I had internal bleeding lol How these guys suddenly stand up and throw 500 pounds off themselves I do not know. That move sounds like something that Playground guy would do who does all the crazy lifts and pause reps in the gym.

Lmao yes but no crazy weights, usually just on burn-out sets of benching (max 225). There is no way on earth I'm gonna use the roll technique on big weights lol.

1)involves the largest number of muscles of different muscle groups (even the jaw
2)can be involved in resistance and endurance training depending on your goal
3) will strengthen your back and improve your posture
It is important to say that depending on the morphology of the body (including joint structure and body constitution) the effect on the muscles will be different. So, this exercise is also unique as two persons with the same training level and physical strength will use and improve different muscles with the increasing the weight of the exercise.

So I’m going for squats. Two main reasons for that.
1) I’m a decent squatter and fairly average in most other areas. It would be better for my ego if it was all about squats ;)
2) For me, nothing creates the same burden on the whole body that standing there with a load of weight across your traps pushing every part of your body into the floor. Nothing else makes me feel like I have to work as hard, (both physically and mentally), to move that weight from A to B.
Definitely not average at Deads mate - Or bench and that's not taking into account all the RC surgeries!
Squat. Everything feels SUPER natural with this mouvement. This exercice makes me feel good and strong.
I have to go with Deadlifts here, but I think another good one for the Poll would be bent over barbell rows.
Row's are 4th from the bottom mate, it's meant to mean the Barbell version but I left it open so it can include dumbbell and T-Bar variants etc.

Press, do another poll exercises or body part you hate to work on. For me it’s east, for whatever reason I despise doing biceps. I can’t figure out why I loath doing them.
I can’t stand deadlifts or Barbell Squats, and here I am seeing how important they are. I’m just always worried one of those two exercises will take me out of the game entirely if I go too heavy. Ugh, I still fking hate them.
Same here brother I barely train them, I do some hammer curls and the occasional bicep curl here and there but thats about it. I also don't like the oversized arms look that a lot gym goers have lmao.
Ditto I never do them either lol I use to years ago when I was into bodybuilding more but since getting into powerlifting I never do - it simply doesn't aid anything I'm trying to accomplish. Having big arms still looks impressive though.
