I miss these feels. I’m 30 and wanted to get a switch to play Pokémon: my wife would have left me lol!
I just bought a Super Nintendo. Super Mario three all the way. I’m 47 years old. Let me tel you it brings back memories playing all night with my brother and smoking pot in his bedroom. Make us feel like kids again. As soon as I told him I bought it, right away he said I know it’s been many years but, if we play that we have tk get some pot. Now it’s legal in my state. We got a TCH vape pen. Shit was never that strong when I was young
Bill I still do that just minus the weed. I swapped it for a margarita
Yeah great times buddy, super Nintendo was awesome, remember super Mario and tmnt, teenage mutant ninja turtles was sick back then lmao!!
Compared to CoD 2007, CoD in 2023 is 100% on steroids.
DOOM, HALO, MOST newer games… they’re ALL on steroids!!! [And this is coming from a OG CounterStrike player!!]
Unless you grew up playing the game (ages 5-10); our brains/fingers/eyes seems to lose muscle memory.
MADDEN is the only game I can hang COMPETITIVELY with the youngster (because I had Madden 93, then BLITZ for years #musclememory)
DOOM is my shit, also Wolfenstein. Love those games. I can't do COD or battlefield games for whatever reason they don't appeal. I remember getting my first OG nintendo and spending countless hours on Mario and a few other games. I can go for months without playing and hop on like I didn't skip a beat. Sports games just don't do it for me.
COD: It’s becoming too real. The combat. The weapon sounds. Sprawling. Camping. Watching your surroundings like your life depends on it. Getting shanked!! Friendly-fire. It’s all too close to home, man.
Original MARIO: You remember the water level (1-3). As a 2nd grader, I couldn’t figure out how to swim (A button). Took me a year (thru my neighbor) to learn how to swim with Mario. PS: I couldn’t finish the game until 9th grade!! #fml
GOD!!! I miss being that young! EVERYTHING was a new experience & sensation. Games, sports & losing my virginity was literally ALL I cared about back them!!!
Yeah doom was epic, and counter strike with friends in a net Caffè, we almost bring the shop down..
You guys had Internet cafes too?!??!? What country @alekaras? Remember CounterStrike tournaments???
Me and my Chinese friends used to pay for 1-hr passes for $5 back in 2000-2001. Our local cafe also had memberships & subscriptions for unlimited play.
But by 2002, I had my own DELL computer + DSL internet, right? I took that big, bulky computer with me EVERYWHERE.
Counter-Terrorist SSA, baby!! M4A1 + silencer + grenades + smoke grenades
I used to literally play for 20hrs straight, at times (when I was a junior college dropout TWICE)
My cousin from Korea once used my CounterStrike THE WHOLE TIME HE VISITED US FOR 1 MONTH….. all day, everyday! … no porn for me that month!!! [My family & I clearly have addictive personalities, eh]
JohnJuiceThose cybercafes were insane, have so much time and money spent in them, and have good old memories with friends playing cs 1.5 and 1.6..., Lineage2, and other cool games. Childhood memories damn... hitting me again, These were the days. All the Lan parties, oh man those were better days!
It's so cool to see how much technology has progressed in such a short time, we still have those cybercafes but it's not the same vibes tbh.
I stopped after Wotlk if I remember right. At that Time I've had over 13k hours played, so Yeah, I played a bit! Arma 3 over 3k hours and probably few hundered or maybe over a thousand in our local Arcade games pub, even before I got my first PC. Man that was a great times, eating sausages and smoking in one of my friends garden house or garage for days....
Nice I stopped at the next patch cataclysm edge, I got my legendary daggers first and then quit..
BoaTop gear in super Nintendo was my all time favorite, super Mario bros too
Super Mario yoshis land was epic
I was a Huge StreetFighter 2 fan on the SNES!!! Shoryuken!! Lol Also Tekken 2 and Goldeneye. Obviously Mario Bros on original Nintendo Block too lol
My favorite OS street fighter was Ken and Blanca... And a bit of that horny chick Chun Lee lol
I wasn’t the only one that would hit the PAUSE as CHUNLI did her helicopter kick, right????? @alekaras @press1
(I was 10-11 years old… Don't judge me!!!)
Hahaha I always chose Blanca too - I'm gonna Electrofy your ASS!!!! Or Storming Headbutt lol
Up till the age of 10 I was always playing Pacman on this little block machine, would it of been an Atari?
Yep - An Atari VCS 2600 Junior LMAO
Atari lol 27 years ago brother!!
Sega master system was right after Atari epic game Alex kid!!
Sinclair ZX Spectrum!!! Lmao
I had a Commodore 64 too lol
Yeah it was epic, for its time l, good times!!
We got a place that has all those old school arcade games in my town. $10 unlimited play, bring your own food and they sell hard cider and go 21+ after 8pm every night.
Too many to list, but… Tron, Joust, Dig Dug, Q-Bert, Spy Hunter, there’s just so many. I was around in the 80’s and may have cut school to go to the arcade and hang out at the mall here and there. Smoke some shitty harsh weed lol. Drink an Orange Julius.
We have one of those Arcades on our boardwalk. I still suck at those games. Gotta love Pole Position
Those games are for the nerds. Im sipping margaritas then will play the game with the hammer , frog into the lilly pad
Lol
I wasn't into WoW but Diablo 2 was my shit back in the day. My buddy was pretty good at hacking/modding characters. Always fun doing the 1v1 and getting eliminated 0.5 second one hitters lol.
Remember it, also very addictive game lmao, spent weekends with out sleep for that shit!!
Yeah pvp ruled!!
I spent many hours a day invested in Diablo 2 early 2000's. Was really addictive that and my PS2. Good times with my friends.
