+ 11 With hindsight, would you use steroids again?

Knowing what you know now, if you could go back in time when you first started using steroids, would you still choose to use steroids?

With hindsight, would you use steroids again?

Yes, without any hesitation.

Boss, take a deep breath. If you have all these issues, should you be using gear? The promo statement was irrelevant, not that I’m cracking on you for receiving free products, we all participate. I’m talking if you’re in a poor state of health, I hope you’re not using compounds that will further decline your state of health. But, you shared it’s only Cyp so if you’re being monitored and it’s helping you, then great, I genuinely hope you continue improving. That’s all, I’m not here to disrespect you and wish you a speedy recovery along with good health.

I feel that I went in at the start after researching alot before I took the plunge!, and it wasn't until my late 20's. So I'm happy with my choices! Would advise anyone to read, and research, and not listen to any gym bros!

I was 30 years old almost before I even ran my first test cycle. Absolutely, no regrets.

You left out “yes. I would’ve done way more and in more ways people (incorrectly) said that I shouldn’t.”

I 100% would hop on the gears with the knowledge I have now. I of course jumped in with very little knowledge just going by what my coaches told me to do. No regrets from it though.

After seeing the gains I get on 500mg of tesr and 300mg
Of deca/npp compared to the grams I ran in my mid 20s… absolutely would do it slower

There are a surprising number of votes from people who regret having used them, I'm interested to hear your reason(s) why? Smile

I didn't start using steroids until I was required to go on TRT. If I was 25 yrs old there is no way in hell I would be using steroids and most that ask me about them and curious about using I tell them the same thing. Very few people are at that stage of development in their physique and nutrional knowledge where steroids should be an option. Most think it is an easy out, but it is not. They are on a continual yo-yo, get big and puffy when on and then shrink right back down to where they were when off. No clue about dieting and how to maintain mass. All risk and no reward for most people.

25 yrs old

Yeah, I worded the question wrong. "If you could back in time when you first started using steroids" works better.

In that case, I jumped in head first without hesitation and it was the best thing I ever did. But I was well informed of what I was getting myself into in the first place and had already put decades of hard work in the gym and really understood the aspects of diet manipulation. I really couldn't get any further natty, especially with the testosterone level of a 70 year old grandma.

As long as you do the leg work, I don’t think it’s that harmful. I take big recovery breaks and make sure to use proper PCT. I honestly think my exposure to AAS has made me stronger even a year after being off then I would have been naturally.

Great idea for a poll Good

The 2 main things I wish I listened to members about when giving me advice in the early years are Liver supplements and Blood Pressure medication. For years I suffered hard workouts because my BP was running much higher than it should have been, making me feel breathless, winded and tired through many of them esp. deadlifts. I thought they were just tablets that old men took who had heart problems, unfortunately many of us have to suffer the complications before we change our way of thinking.

I feel the same. The sense of invincibility we have when we’re young push us to jump into this shit with the idea we don’t need to take precautions like others. I imagine most it’s us started irresponsibly because t learned as we went. I did r get into gear at 25, but I don’t have any long-standing regrets about it.
