@Novalentinehere unfortunately I do, stage lean is a whole different standard. But competing is self induced torture, and so is all of it, we are all grown ups here we can just decide to eat whatever we want and not train at all if we wanted lol

I really appreciate the compliment @Aggieguy but I’m really not like anything crazy. I’m not gonna lie I really feel like my body changes because I don’t train as much as most and always go to failure. I lift usually every other day tbh, when I do it’s not wild volume but I really go to true failure. A lot of my exercises are only 1 set, but I keep track of my weight on everything and try to improve my 6-10 rep range. I don’t grow with 12-15 rep shit (not counting legs), that’s what I learned from my body. No pump workouts or 3-4 sets an exercise (usually). People are focused on total sets but 1-2 sets on every exercise is legit all you need if you’re tracking weight and pushing hard. Muscle damage from unnecessary volume is not beneficial imo, you want to stimulate not annihilate. If I drag volume, I don’t grow.
You are for sure doing something right. I am going to try your suggestion. I do reps but I do try to go to failure in them however some things I can’t like I have to stop before I hurt myself. I need to find a buddy that will go with me constantly because a while back like months ago I went to failure on my dumbbell bench and dropped a 80lb weight on my face… not doing that ever again. It hurt like hell but it hurt my pride even more.
Well for certain exercises can make exceptions it all depends. Yea that sounds very painful, maybe get some elbow wraps/sleeves to keep everything more stable

Im in the minority I actually love zone 2 cardio, I just walk on the incline treadmill. Helps me clear my mind and working up a good sweat feels great. Right now I'm doing 8-9 hours a week walking trying to finish up a cut. If any of you guys smoke just hit your dab pen or whatever before cardio it makes it not boring. Feels like a cheat code.
Food is easy… when in a surplus. Lol.

Yes the only thing that helps is eye candy and listening to some music. I need to do cardio myself but I just fucking hate it. Its not even close to as exciting as to pick up different weights and move them around.
